“Stellar experience replacing my snowboard deck here. I really enjoyed chatting with Shane as he hot waxed the new deck and mounted my bindings. For an experience in a store, this is what you want - shared passion for a lifelong hobby, conversation and camaraderie. Ended up buying new bibs on sale too, especially after Shane correctly dated my nearly 20 year old torn up snowboard pants.

“I have have been very impressed with Gunnar. He is very service oriented, calm, and an excellent ski and boot technician. Since my right foot is slightly smaller than my left, I have struggled with skiing due to the slop in my right boot. He took this up as a challenge, and spent 1/2 hour readjusting the rubber boot insert, and adding cushioning beneath it. Finally I can ski with both boots being tight. “I recently started skiing after a 20 year break, and an ankle fusion. True North is fantastic, and the employees have been very welcoming and helpful. I had previously been in to the shop for random items I had forgotten. The selection is amazing! It is obviously more expensive at the mountain, that is my fault for forgetting my gear. Staff was very helpful in helping me select a usable set of cheap Leki poles when I had forgotten mine and a second set of Hestras. I appreciate staff taking the time to identify the need/want, and offering several options at different price points.
Today I had the pleasure of working with Mac on a new set of boots I'd bought. Mac was very helpful and asked several questions to determine my ability, knowledge and expectations from my gear. Mac was very helpful with selecting inserts and molding my liners. The care taken with my surgical hardware, that is painful was amazing. Mac was awesome bringing me up to speed on what the current gear does and where on the mountain. I also discovered that several Veterans are employed there, thank you! I will be getting all of my tech work done at True North, you are wizards! Much appreciated, and thank you for getting me back over my skis.”
“It was overall an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I both went into the shop with ideas of buying a pair of sunglasses. The Employees were so helpful and patient through the whole process. They helped my boyfriend understand the exact difference between each pair, also letting him try them on near the sun. He was deciding for quite some time but they got impatient. We walked out with two sunglasses and pair or really nice discount swim shorts for my boyfriend. They also have us a 10% for buying two pairs, I definitely recommend this store to all.”

“Super knowledgeable and friendly. Helped me fit my helmet. My friends bike had a flat, my friends pump wasn't the right type for the inner tube se we went back in to have them fill it. The guy asked to see the pump and showed us how to flip the fitting in it so it'd work. Also explained the pros and cons of egg beater pedals which id never seen before.”
