Dylan helped me after losing my job, I needed help with rent and He helped me with part of my rent. Not only that they have a food pantry which I would starve if it wasn't for their generosity. They are all helpful and they even bought me a full tank of gas when I was homeless. Who does that? They are 100% helpful. Oh yeah the front security guard gave me 20 dollars when I was homeless while visiting for food.

My partner and I sought assistance at Tierney this past June, while we were working to stabilize our housing situation. The case worker who handled our case was Stacy Placencia. She assisted us with understanding the eligibility process for assistance. She responded to our questions / emails in a timely manner. After our eligibility for the program was determined, our request for assistance was approved shortly thereafter. The assistance that Tierney provided gave my partner and me the time to connect to veterans resources that are more comprehensive in scope. We are now stably housed. Thank you, Tierney. Thank you, Stacy, for the assistance.

Tierney Center needs to be investigated. This place is laundering money and it’s obviously not going to the Veterans. Goodwill needs to be investigated. So many Veterans request help from this place and never get it. It’s just constant back and forth emails and phone calls that lead to nothing. The Veterans Legal department couldn’t indict a ham sandwich. Michael who is running the place is lining his pockets with Veterans money while doing television appearances laughing at Veterans stealing their money. The Goodwill bosses allow this to happen.THERES NOTHING GOODWILL ABOUT THIS PLACE. The place is a billion dollar fortress and it’s clear where all of the money meant for Veterans went towards. This place is a scam. Contact your local VA for any assistance and see if they can help. Or other local programs that help Veterans. Then call the BBB to report these FRAUDS. KTLA 5. ABC7. KCAL. CBS2. FOX11 MUST investigate!

As a veteran, they made it such a huge hassle and delay checking in/signing up just to use the restroom. Have to agree with others that these 3rd party veteran help services seem like they're helping themselves more to government funding/charitable donations than actually helping veterans hence why they hassle you to check in/sign up just to use the restroom and don't care if you piss your pants. You're better off reaching out direct to city or government services and potential employers since they get tax credit for hiring veterans.

Just another “veteran service” group that promises to “not be like the rest” and actually respond and help veterans— but in reality doesn’t. met them at a veteran event and they gave us so much hope and excitement. ZERO responses and it’s been months of trying to get assistance. thanks a lot.

They dont help. They have a huge expensive glass building and very little assistance to veterans. They take so much more for themselves from the donations and resources given to them to help others and they give almost nothing to the people this organization is paid to help.

Tierney Center was quick to provide for my emergency assistance and did not expect it that fast! It shows minus negative Debbie downer attitude other organizations have you get results. All others organizations services it’s like why are you ppl working here? the veterans who walk in the door didn’t go to these places to hear employees be negative. Also the pantry is well stocked with good food you can make a meal plus jugs of Orgain protein powder mini grocery.

They hosted Stand Down for vets . The burgers were good . I won a $40 dollar cash card. There were a lot of organizations there . It was extremely hot though and the vets had limited chairs and no shade. There needs to be a tent for vets to relax next time. We were sitting on the ground. The port - a potty's were clean and there was a station with soap to wash our hands . U.S. Vets Station and Families Forward had some rude workers that didn't even want to be there. If you don't want to even say hi or smile at vets then don't come next time.

This place is a fraud and always has been. Most Veterans know to stay away. They pay the director and office staff using charitable donations intended for veterans. When will the DA and the VA investigate this place? Asking for a veteran.

I am a female combat veteran and made an appointment for help with employment. I arrived ready to create a resume and they said they had no appointment for me, could not find the person that I spoke with. My confidence in them to find me a job lessened the longer I sat there waiting and the more people that came out asking me the question, why are you here? Maybe it’s because I’m a female? I don’t know, but I wouldn’t recommend a place for veterans that can even manage an appointment. Very disappointed.

This is a great resource for all Veterans and their dependents for housing assistance, financial services, employment opportunities and educational training. With the help of Goodwill of Orange County and generous donations from the Tierney Family this location was able to be created for Veterans. Thank you!!

Let me start off by saying I am a Marine Corps Veteran and this place would have been of great help to me when I first got of the military, but I didn't find out about this place until recently. This place is filled with amazing staff, most of which are Veterans as well who just want to help Veterans and their families. They provide assistance with housing, behavioral health, VA Benefits, employment assistance and funding for emergency situations. This place should be the first stop for every Veteran in Orange County to make sure they are maximizing their benefits and for any Veteran who needs any type of assistance. I highly recommend this place to any and all Veterans!
