While the cashiers are friendly, Gabe which ever managing position he has needs to understand customer service. I needed a money order for my contractor, and it visibly irritated him to get up from where he was sitting to come help me. I was told to wait at the register and he would come. Almost 4 minutes later I walked over to him to ask if someone was coming. His response "yeah I'll be there in a minute" During the transaction his signed and rolled his eyes. When he handed me the money order I told him I was sorry for inconveniencing him; his response was "yeah OK"-- with so many grocery stores in the area, I don't need to go to Stater Brothers. I will go somewhere else.

Thank you, Carlos, for going above and beyond. We were planning dinner for our family from out-of-state and was looking forward to having BBQ pork ribs. I kept looking everywhere at the store and couldn't find them. Carlos checked the back freezers and brought out 4!!! Thank you!!

I just want to give an extremely loud shoutout to the workers in the fresh fruit department. The fact that they freshly cut and package the fruit is extraordinary. Not only that but the fresh salsa, guacamole, and veggies for a slow cooker meal. I love this Stater Brothers!

This is the third time I shop here with a similar incident. I load my belt and say hello to the Cashier. No response nor acknowledgment. At the end of the transaction she hands me the receipt and I say thank you and walk away. No response, grin or smile. I start to walk away as the next customer moves up and all of a sudden she speaks. How are you, how's it going? . Of course, I had to step back and bring it to her attention. In a respectful way. At least the bagger asked if I wanted some bags. You work here to provide a service to the community, at least respect and a knowledge everyone that you come in contact with. It's your job. I really hope this person doesn't ever become part of the management team. Best of luck Stater brothers. I love your store, dislike the customer service.

A cashier named Renee was incredibly rude to me today. I bought flowers and asked how much cash back I can get, and she got frustrated that I asked if I could get $200 back. She said I should have told her that I needed cash back before she rang me up. She made a big show of letting me know she doesn't have that much, turned around and loudly asked another cashier if she has $200 and that cashier said no. She said the best she can do is $70, which I accepted. The whole time acting like I was such a bother to her...I needed a certain amount of cash, so then I went to a different cashier, purchased a few more things and asked if I could get $100 cash back, which was no problem. As I was walking towards the door, she noticed what I did and she was pointing at me and laughing along with a coworker...Listen, I've worked in customer service for years. She should not be in a public facing position.

Renee at cashier needs better training on her customer service skills. Gossiping with her customer friend while there were people waiting in line. Extremely rude towards POC, i usually experience more pleasant treatment from this location.

Can only review based off my experience, which was right before closing on a weeknight. They had what we needed for a simple Airbnb stay and it was a plus that they were open later than others in the area. The 5 stars is really for the cashier working on Thursday the 9th before closing. He was so friendly and nice that it felt like this was an old-time corner store. It's concerning to hear that customers and staff haven't been wearing masks (as posted in another review) so I don't know if we'd be back during busy hours, but for a late night stop, this was a-okay.

I walked in yesterday to do an instacart order, and as soon as I walked in I had a manager following me the whole time and pretending to be calling someone. My wife was with me and overheard the manager say " Does she work around here or? " Just imagine your wife, being disrespected that way just because of her skin color. I realized I was in Tustin not racial discrimination world. Very unhappy with the way I was treated being a Mexican and very disappointed that people in general look at you a certain way based off the way you look and what color you are! Stater bros is not my store anymore, and I will tell this to the whole world if I have too of Stater bros as a whole.

My background is in Customer Service and I just can't brush off my experiences while shopping at this location. I have shopped at this location several times and each time the store atmosphere is very uncomfortable and unpleasant. Being a person of mixed race in the reality were all living in is difficult enough! The vibe from the employees are very cold-unfriendly as well as the customers, very weird and sad! I recently moved to Orange County and was sadden to witness that this form of implied actions of discrimination still exist in 2021 so openly! The Store interior presentation looks excellent with great selections but the level of kindness & respect is bad!!!

wow...I did not feel safe at this store. Half the people in masks and half not. How do they know if the guests at the store are vaccinated? They were not checking. Even the managers were not in masks....they should set a better example. wtf. I looked this up because I asked the cashiers why there were so many people not in masks. They said they were following CDC guidelines...hmmm I think not.

I always enjoyed coming to this store due to cleanliness. Today was a terrible visit, I was going thru the aisles looking for an item and I stopped a staff member, before I can say anything she yelled out IM AT LUNCH and processed to walk away!! I found someone else who kindly helped. I then approached the cashier and I mistakenly didn't notice that it was 15 items or less. The cashier was not helping anyone and just talking to other staff. I was paying and he made it a point to say MAAM LOOK AT THE SIGN! I felt embarrassed and apologized. Needless to say I WONT BE BACK TO THIS STORE, Staff needs to be trained on customer service and how to treat customers.

I usually don't write reviews, but this time I believed it was necessary for the amazing service I received. I am not familiar with the SoCal area, as I am from Northern California. To my knowledge there currently aren't any active stater bros in my area. As I am here for business, I had to stop to a local grocery store. Going inside I was really confused where the products I needed were. Thankful I met this amazing young clerk, named Heidi. You could tell she really knew her stuff and was really knowledgeable! She helped me figure out exactly where everything I needed was located. After I retrieved my items, I went to check out and Heidi happened to be my clerk. She was super nice and professional! I wish all clerks were as helpful and pleasant as her. Overall, well organized store that was clean and efficient. And an amazing clerk that left me with a smile.

Quick eats for the family. Grab Cleo and Leo fabulous fried chicken eight piece in the deli aisle then run to the fridge section for some mashed potatoes and presto you have dinner for under $11. Easy peasy. My son and I routinely grab this meal on a weekly basis. Yummy. Freshly made all day long.

This Stater Brothers checks off all the boxes: 1. Helpful, friendly staff and plenty of them. 2. A real butcher's counter. 3. Big selection of groceries but in a reasonably sized store. 4. Clean 5. Produce is fresh and with a good selection. 6. Wide variety of choices of grocery items of various kinds 7. Convenient location. 8. Sufficient parking. 9. Reasonable prices. This is not the only market at which I shop, but I will always go here first.
