I Just had a not so great experience at this specific Sephora-El Real Camino 12/11/23 around 8/8:30pm. While at the fragrance area I noticed a perfume, "replica-jazz club" being at $60 for the 3.4oz and asked an associate to help me find the product. They couldn't find it, but were showing they had some in stock. It seemed that managers were pulled into trying to find the product and later we found out there was a price misprint. I was told they were going to honor the price and after waiting and waiting and waiting I was told they couldn't find any. I wasn't given any other sort of help in terms of helping me get the product I wanted. It was just given a "no we don't have it" and we can't do anything about it. It was a very poor customer service experience. I wasn't gone to make a scene. I've worked in the guest focused/customer service industry and given the circumstance there could have been some sort of rectification. Price adjusting a similar product would have been something that I would have been okay with and nothing was offered. Everything I asked about was shut down so I left without purchasing anything. The original associate seemed to genuinely want to help and I appreciate that. One of the managers, Asian and maybe in her early 30's was the one who negated any solution. The passive aggressive 'have a nice night' from her, as we left was not necessary either. I wasn't the one who put out incorrectly priced product placards. Needless to say, I won't be visiting nor would I recommend this location to anyone.

Employees make my shopping experience unpleasant every single time at this location! They hover over you and are constantly asking if you need a basket or help. Several times!! It's comical. They got one more chance before I really give them a peace of my mind. I believe it's called profiling! Seriously rethink about coming to this location!!

i normally only write reviews when i am getting personalized service (dine in restaurants, massage, facials, hair salons, etc.); however, as evident by the many 1-2 star reviews, i received the worst customer service of my life at this sephora location. my mom and i went in to make a return. we had made two purchases of the exact same product but they were two separate purchases with two separate prices. we wanted to return one of the two. the cashier at the front pulled up the wrong item and when i tried to show her the correct item on the sephora app on my phone, she didnt even take a second to look. she proceeded with the return that i just told her was wrong. when i repeatedly told her it was not the right item, she tried to justify her action by saying the refund amount might be different because i used points/rewards, after i explicitly told her it is literally the WRONG item. she had to grab the store manager who came to void the entire transaction and return the correct product.i get that mistakes happen, but this cashier literally did not even try. she didnt look at my phone to see what the correct item was, she never once apologized, and she had the worst attitude ive ever experienced. there was no empathy, acknowledgement, or apology for this mistake. my mom and i left the counter to look at lip products. the store manager proceeds to walk right behind us with a different sales associate and starts to talk about us (literally and physically) behind our backs. if youre going to talk about someone, much less a customer, you might want to wait until theyre gone.my mom and i got in line to purchase a lip product. the same store manager who was just talking about us behind our backs, comes up to us and asks if everything is okay because she noticed we were in line again. as soon as we told her we were actually making a purchase, she presents us with this giant smile as if she wasnt just talking about us behind our backs two seconds ago. we get the same cashier again to make our purchase. there was an issue with my sephora rewards/points, so she asks another cashier to assist. this is the perfect juxtaposition of what is good customer service vs. bad customer service. this other cashier was super polite and professional, took time to troubleshoot, explained what happened with my points, and why i am unable to use my 10$ reward. complete 180 compared to the previous cashier and store manager involved.i am confident no one monitors these yelp reviews and that most are not flagged to store managers/regional managers, but this type of customer service, if repeated, will 100% be detrimental. tldr; dont talk about a customer behind their back, especially if they are standing right there?? and if you make a mistake, just own up and apologize and act professional. these are basic things they teach you as a retail sales associate.

First time doing lip wax at Sephora for my birthday! Kimberly was so nice and patient with the waxing the process! She politely asked me if there are some areas she needs to redo and she did them several times! Process is painless and she applied soothing gel to calm down post wax. She was very professional, she advised me that I still had a pimple still healing so she didn't apply over the pimple.

Took a while for me to review but when I was getting color matched, they used product directly from the testers onto my face.I'm not sure how the general public hasn't learned from COVID? All these people coming in, the general public/sephora employees applying product DIRECTLY onto peoples skin.Can you imagine how many people's skin have touched that product? How many might have herpes, or god-knows-what all touching your skin from the same product? Disgusting.

First time in Sephora Tustin! Went for make up and the beauty consultant Michelle and greeter was super nice! Michelle was very nice, patient and super helpful. She got me what I needed and I will return when I need more makeup and help

Busy, but knowledgeable and friendly staff . Shout out to Julie who has pinpointed my exact foundation shade and needs . I had visited other stores and couldn’t get an adequate match. Julie found my correct shade and foundation with Gaga’s Haus Labs in less than 10 minutes. Thank you!

Don't get your makeup done by Mayra. She is rude, didn't match makeup With skin tone, eyebrows were shaded way off, and wasn't even ready for our 2pm appointment. Honestly such a waste of $$ and I tipped her bc there was no other option NOT to tip. She wasn't even thankful for the tip I shouldn't have paid. Such a waste of $$I wish I read reviews beforehand to know NOT of booked with her. Makeup was so bad and I even asked for dark eyeshadow and eyeliner and it was horrible. I had to redo it at home. She was also rude by end of appointment. Not friendly at all. Makeup has a orange streak along forehead, not sure why she made the forehead so orange. But I would not recommend this makeup artist. She definitely needs more training

I had a great experience here yesterday. I made an appointment to have my makeup done for an event and my artist was Grace. Super kind and professional! I showed her some pictures of what I wanted & she nailed it. Reasonable pricing. The other employees at the store seemed very friendly & welcoming as well.
