“I don't use this bank, but my grandparents had accounts with them for decades. My grandmother passed away in 2005, and my grandfather just this last month. My parents have been dealing a lot with their estate and they've had nothing but good things to say about how helpful everyone at this bank has been. They're always kind and friendly and have helped make this process a bit easier! We also got a card in the mail from the girls that work there that was very nice and heartwarming. If the nearest location wasn't so far from where I live, I'd definitely use this bank just for the lovely people that work there!”

“Bank The very word itself conjures itself up as a four letter one syllable alternative to another four letter one syllable word. The one that rhymes with 'yuck'. Because that's generally been a good description of what many banks offer someone in exchange for their business. US Bank seems a different breed so far. Different from Wells Fargo's indifference, Bank of America's arrogance and Chase's annoying non-stop cross-selling. US Bank isn't the largest player and that's a good thing in my book; bigger isn't always better yet they have a respectable number of branches and ATM's providing coverage. They also have some amazing technology and this is even more admirable considering their size and that some of their offerings are actually superior to those I've used at Wells and Chase. No matter their size, so far it seems to me that they remember where they came from and don't take themselves too seriously. Really appreciate the mobile banking options; especially so the send/receive money engines that pretty much eliminate the need for those awful money gram people and their 18.00+ fees. Just the $0.00 charge at US Bank beats that alone; not to mention how easy it is thru the App on your phone. Twain Harte branch is terrific. More like walking into someone's living room...I'm somewhat surprised one isn't greeted with pie by a cherubic grandmotherly type. Friendly, quick and personal service that is light years away from the robotic crispness of most banks. Folks at US Bank actually have a pulse. That's a rare quality these days. As is call-centre customer service that is US based. Which is good in as much as I'd have a field day with a review of US Bank schlepping its customers off on someone named 'Susan' in Hyperidad. Bank of 'America' has that angle covered just fine thank you. Or rather has covered in one word that rhymes with 'yuck' you what they think of their customers and employees. Props to US Bank for doing the right thing and avoiding that hypocrisy and shame. One star lost for one thing: NSF Fees. 35.00 each. Yes, I'm glad that they covered my debits and they should get paid for that. But 35.00?? Too much and I don't care if all the other banks are charging that amount....its usury. US Bank seems to want to be different from the 'yuck' you banks. Reducing that $35.00 fee down to $10.00 would be a great way to support its customer-friendly differences and show excellence in just that leadership effort alone. So far it's been a good relationship now nearly one year in. No yuck yet as the initial honeymoon comes to a close. We might just have a chance at making it, US and Me. Cool.”
