“A good comic book and collectables store on city walk. It is mostly geared to marvel and DC products but they do have a good range of other genres aswell, including horror and loads of funko pops and some good shirts. A decent sized store, was fairly quiet despite city walk being busy and service was all good.”
“I found this hobby shop thru an eBay listing and I reached out to inquire about inventory they didn't have listed online. They directed me to their website where they special ordered it for me with stellar, personal communication the whole way. I live all the way in NC and the shipping took only 2 days. I will absolutely be using this store for my hobby needs in the future!”
“Great time at the Funko Shop. We inadvertently saw this place on our way to the Hollywood walk of fame and ended up parking across the street. Metered street parking available along Hollywood Blvd. and side streets. The store is organized into different collections: Marvel, Disney, Horror, Harry Potter, DC, Gaming, Sports, etc...lots to see. I love the large human-sized displays they have around the store. Tons of photo ops with your favorite characters. As expected, lots of Funko Pop figures and merch for purchase. There is also an area where you can create your OWN custom POP Figure ($30). All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Although I would consider this an absolute must for any Funko fan, most others will find something (or character) they can appreciate in the store.”
“Great for playing pinball. Many modern Stern (and all are the better Premium models). Plus very well maintained - including the older ones (some of my all-time favorites like Medieval Madness, Monster Bash, Cactus Canyon). Drinks very fair prices, too.”
“Great store has little of it all plus great friendly employee and owner he was able to combine a deal on multiple purchases thank you guys kindly I will be back and tell more how great it was”
“Super cool and cute place for all your blind box and trinket needs! Small space but carries so much, staff are always friendly and helpful! Here's what I ended up buying most recently.”
“Came in on a whim since we were in the area, and was so surprised at how much variety and items they had available. Considering this is probably the only store left in the plaza, it still had so much to offer from Gunpla, to Yu-gi-oh model kits, and even some DIY Book Nook kits. The pricing was fair if not cheap compared to online prices. It was so hard to not leave with more, but will definitely come by more when I'm in the area.”
“I loved this store it has a ton of Neca action figures, Hasbro figures, star wars figures and a ton of awesome horror merch, old and new. I managed to snag this cool figure. Wasn't too expensive either. I'd recommend stopping by this store”
“We love claw machines! This place is located right across from the Sega pop up shop (June 2025) so it's nice to stop by after grabbing lunch. Definitely hard to get a prize but easy access and clean space! Always a fun time ^^”
“One of our favorite shops in LA. Wacko is the perfect gift store. From kitsch apron to esoteric books, from mushroom designed lamps to silicon finger puppet, weird socks and so much more, be prepared to spend quite some time in there checking all the amazing stuffs they have!”
“I went to start playing Warhammer, and the owner was very friendly. There is also an experience space where you can try coloring.
I bought a starter kit. A fascinating world of hobbies...”
“One of the best automotive museums in the world. The collections change often so worth going back a few times per year. Parking is expensive ($21) in the garage.”
“Ok. So this place has a lot of cars. The prices are higher than like a swap meet but it's a business. He has overhead.
Claims there isn't that much markup in stuff but a guy asked for what was about a 15% discount and was told there was no wiggle room and ended up paying the asking price. Small. Intimate. And he has his own collection on the pegs.
If that's true he probably should be buying them for cheaper. It's a reseller's market. And he's not about turning inventory. It's a really nice collection to browse. But 20 bucks for a mainline is lost on me. 8 to 10 dollars for peg warmers.”
“Love this place! Prices are great, and quality of these floating LED roses are excellent!Believe me, I have bought these at higher price, and they were junk on other websites. Also, you can either morph the 7 colors, or pick any color, and leave it on that.???????????????”
“I wish they brought back large book stores. This clean book store in Burbank is large enough to sit inside and start reading a book, bring your kids for story time or walk around the toy section.”

“Children's Book World has the best selection of children's books anywhere. The staff is so welcoming. Getting up close and personal with authors and illustrators is a privilege. Watching Lisa Yee and Dan Santat banter about their latest book, The Misfits, was a treat. The first pages have me hooked. As soon as I have a cup of java in hand, I'll return to The Misfits. Thanks to Children's Book World for this (and many other) wonderful experience!”
“It's not as big as your standard B&N, but that's what adds to the charm of this converted cinema, turned bookstore.
I easily spent hours just following the curved walls of books and I'm sure so would you dear reader!”
“this is definitely one of the best RC shops. They have all kinds of cars and brands like traxxas and arrma. I went there to turn my traxxas rustler into an FPV RC car by using an FPV drone camera and mounting it onto the car and Armand was very helpful and nice. The customer service is outstanding i highly recommend this place.”
“Mega City One is amazing!! It may not look like much from the outside, but if you love comic books like me, it has mostly EVERYTHING you are looking for to meet your regular comic book fixes!! I've been going to this store for years and they rarely let me down. The owner and JON who's runs the store are incredible and have a wealth full of knowledge. Beyond that, they will go to the extra mile to make sure that your comic book needs are fullfied and you and your needs are fully taken care of. Also, Mega City One far exceeds their closest competition, that "Rotten Apple" place down the street! Forever, for me, Comic Books have always stood for "Truth, Justice and the American Way!" When I visit Mega City One, I feel like I'm stepping into the Daily Planet where hidden greatness can be found. They are so much better than President's Lex Luther's villains lair down the street. Can't recommend Mega City One's excellent customer service enough! They will take care of you and you will NOT ever be disappointed!!”
“This is a busy bookstore, but with all of the customers they have, they still were able to help me. They were polite and helpful. Only reason I gave them a 4 star is because they didn't have the magazine I was looking for (2600). Either they were out or they no longer carry it. They did look it up on their computer but nothing came up for the magazine. I hope they were just out of them, I'll keep looking”
“Great place to find some crazy bootleg/custom action figures,& Dov will usually deal with you. I highly recommend checking out what's in stock. It's always changing. You might just find something as cool as this killerbootlegs/Czarface figure I got!”
“There is no other train shop like it. They are as incredibly knowledgeable as they are helpful and friendly. They treat all train lovers, young and old, with respect. The shop is very well stocked, and they do all types of repairs. Los Angeles is lucky to have them.”
“I love how organized everything is here! I really loved how when I had a certain question about a specific show and character, the young man working was able to point right to it. Everyone here is really knowledgeable and kind. I will definitely continue to come here to get gifts for myself, friends, and family. Thank you so much!”
“The staff here are saved my life. I have a nephew who is a Lego fanatic who loves surprises. They helped me find what may be the best gift ever and elevate me to favorite aunt status. I talked to a few people here and in seconds they found something that is going to blow his 5 year old mind.
Definitely shop here if you have a Lego fan in LA. I’m definitely bribing him here next time he visits Los Angeles.”

“Do not sleep on this store. It's an absolute must when in LT. So many cool pieces! I don't know much about collectibles but this place makes me want to start about 12 collections of my own. Super friendly service is just an added bonus.”
“Great selection of action figures and collectibles with really good prices. The staff is knowledgeable and super helpful. This is My 14yo son's favorite store.”
“Awesome store with friendly enthusiastic staff. The store is really impressive, clean with good stock and had everything I wanted. My only problem is wanting to leave with everything. I'll be back very soon to buy some more!”
“Epic toy store! They sell vintage-size dinosaurs and other cool toys :))) Plus John is so helpful in helping me find the right birthday present. He also chose a fantastic gift wrapping too and Isaac helped me check out with great enthusiasm. Love them both!! They make the toy shop fun, not just the great selection of toys.”
“Zonko’s in Universal Hollywood?!? It’s the joke shop in Hogsmeade Village from the Harry Potter movies. The window display is super hilarious. It’s has a Puking Pastille girl statue complete with flowing barf. It’s cheesy, funny. Go check it out. They welcome friends & jokesters.
The interior shop is shared space with Honeyduke’s. Right when you walk into Zonko’s, their area is relatively small. It consist of mainly a wall of merchandise and novelty toys. That area is designed in a different color and look than Honeyduke’s.”
