Wanted to do a CD and made an appointment online to have a more discrete transaction. Representative called back and told me to do it online or at the window instead. How rude! Customer service is absolutely unacceptable. That's why I am doing business elsewhere.

2-stars for terrible service at the vacaville branch. 1-star goes to the Davis branch for goofing up my check order causing a 6 week delay. I could not find a pen in the vacaville branch! I really needed a pen to endorse a bunch of checks. I did however, find lots of useless promotional flyers and glossy brochures.

I am very very disappointed with vacavilles golden 1 customer service. I called to make sure I could do an in bank share transaction and was told yes. I arrived with a check to deposit and was told I needed to use ATM. I think the employees are too lazy to go out of their way for customers who are supposed to be able to conduct share branch transactions. I think my bank would not like knowing that the banks they partner with are turning their customers away.

I have been a member of this bank since I was 10 years old. 25 years of loyal service. I received my first checking, savings, credit card and first loan with the golden 1. sadly, the customer service at the vacaville location is sorely lacking. I had a serious banking issue that needed to be resolved and the assistant manager, Jennifer was rude, impolite, unprofessional, condescending and seemed annoyed to even be working. She did not want to help me at all and my issue was too much of a burden and annoyance for her to have to lift a finger. I had to drive 20 plus minutes to Fairfield to try and get some help. Luckily, the Fairfield branch is incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. I love the golden 1, but the Vacaville branch does not give a good face to this bank institution. Jennifer, do better. I wanted to close my account and walk away from banking here but I will not let your bad attitude ruin my account.

I just came to their branch off of nut tree rd. on 02/04/22 Friday night and had my card and funds stole from the machine due to it malfunctioning right before heading out of state. I’m definitely canceling my policy.

Golden One is a horrible Credit Union they have no loyalty to long term customers, and by long term I means 30 years or more. We had an issue with our credit a long time ago but we have great credit scores now and we got denied for a loan that they were pushing on us in our online bank account. We never caused Golden One a loss so it makes no sense for them to deny a loan. Now I have a hard inquiry on our credit and a denial, they knew our credit score that's probably why they were pushing the loan. It's a horrible place to do business, especially if you think by being a good customer you can actually have access to their products. Like I said loyalty is not in their vocabulary.
