“The nicest people in town own this business. They are so helpful and kind. I have had a mailbox here for at least 10 years. Even when I moved out the area I still kept my box here because of the customer service. When I moved back to town I was glad I kept it because the word was out that this is the place to do business. I absolutely adore Tim and Marry Tess. Now their children work there too and they are the sweetest. The apple did not fall far from the tree. If you need a mailbox, copy service, or if your mailing something off, please go here and do business with them, you will be glad you did.”
“The employees were friendly, efficient, and made the process incredibly simple. I didn’t have to wait long, and they took care of everything right away. It’s always nice to receive great customer service, and this location definitely delivered.”
“This little post office on Marin Street in Vallejo is truly a hidden gem. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help, making every visit a pleasant experience. One of my favorite touches is the beautiful flower decorations, which seem to change every week and brighten up the lobby.
Out of all the post offices I've visited over the years, this is by far my favorite. Outstanding customer service, a warm atmosphere, and people who genuinely care about their customers. Highly recommended!”
“I've had a box here for nearly five years now and the very few mishaps having taken place aren't even worth mentioning. The proprietor has always been fair, helpful and honest with me and others. I've witnessed her advise a customer when her shipping cost seemed inappropriate so they may choose an alternate like the USPS. You don't see that often in a competitive business environment. Five stars for Goibg Postal”
“Need to print out some documents . The owner Kiran was very helpful and gave great customer service . Truly refreshing to deal with a kind and polite woman . Kiran also runs a farmers insurance agency . I'm new to Vallejo and definitely will be back to get insurance quotes from her.”
“Needed a poster for our kiddos soccer team and they were able to make it happen asap. The team is friendly and helpful. Makayla & Kris are amazing and very knowledgeable!”
“They are located inside a filipino market & have very limited space. I have always found them to be very helpful & quite organized with the forms I needed to fill out. It is not a quick process, though, as almost everything needs to be inspected as not everything can be shipped. I send birthday & Christmas cards through them as they rarely make it through the post office. Many times, documents I have sent using LBC arrived before the expected date. Air & sea cargo boxes have never been late. It helps to know the process & be prepared.”
“I pass by the Benicia PO to come to this location. Been coming here for years and yes they are the most, patient, courteous and knowledgeable. The lines can get long but they maintain good service to ALL.
Someone vandalized our mailbox cluster and I am at this PO often lately.
It’s been over a month and it’s still not fixed. How much longer? Realize a number of boxes got hit but it’s super inconvenient standing in line and using expensive gas just to pick up mail.
How much longer?”
“You are most welcome and it was well deserved I did not know I had to bring my own box and everything that goes along with that to send it back out to Amazon but the girl there was extremely nice and polite and jocular in a professional way, and she explained to me step by step what I had to do.. I met a teacher there and I asked her if she ever heard of latch hook and she told me yes and they had them there, I haven't had them since I was 11 when my nana taught me, so I ended up buying two of them and I came to find out I have not forgotten how to latch hook, my nana, may she rest in peace, would be proud I also found Pop Rocks it's a candy which I haven't seen in about 40 years. I dealt with the evening staff, they deserve a raise, at the very least please tell them thank you. I'll definitely be back. Always j. A. S.”
“I guess every branch is different. I use Atlas for all my Balikbayan box needs. When someone told me about their money remittance services - and learned their exchange rate is higher than PNB (and significant-enough higher than Western Union) - I never looked back. My usual is their location in Carson/SoCal. I've done tons of transactions with them with no snags. I was due for another run and since I found myself in NorCal earlier than planned, this was the most convenient place. Vallejo has a high population of Filipinos, so it's no wonder it's right next to a few more Filipino owned businesses. Three people manning the place when I walked in - one for travel services, the other two for sending/receiving cash. They were pretty fast because the two people in line ahead of me were out and done in less than 5 minutes. I was greeted and welcomed and asked for my info. She was friendly, off the bat. I provided my phone number as well as my name but for some bizarre reason, she couldn't find my name on their system. She encouraged me to download and sign up on the AXPmobile app. I was irked at first (what for, I didn't have to do this at their Carson location) but since I had time, I did what I was told. And how glad am I that I did. Now that I have this QR code, it'll make all my future transactions with them much faster and easier. I was outta there QUICK! Great first run, glad to know they're here, not too far from home (I'm required to cross the Carquinez Bridge - no biggie!) so it's convenient enough. It's good to know it's here for when I'm in the East Bay should the need come up.”
“Each post office locations in Vallejo--each equally busy.
The Post office on same side of City Hall is fully operational--5 days a week. (It did not permanently close-- Internet error)
A.Request: A one-page, simple printout in Lobby or on the Post Office door-- of 10-12 --currently-- fully maintained USPS collection boxes in VALLEJO ---that are not on USPS Post Office property. The limited lobby hours fully supported; But, WHERE a person can reliably put an envelope in a reliably maintained collection box --so needed, too.
B. The Napa St. Vallejo clerks--each do their best--delivering focused service and do all well. The human service appears to be a wise mgmt choice. The glass doors---kept open during operation hours at all times huge help. The client wooden tables at each counter such a necessity. They are perfect. Thank you.
C. I noticed there are the small- vintage--coin-operated stamp machines-- for the wall--on EBay & similar sites. Are the electric self service kiosks the only option allowed for a location to install? Those self-service kiosks are expensive in every facet to maintain. I totally understand why there isn't one at the Napa St. post office. Is a coin-operated machine with or without credit card operability--no longer an option?
Separately, a few printed out STAMPS by Mail forms in the Lobby with a Wall Flyer Sign--I think would help remind some of the residents of the service. I have always used Stamps by Mail. It's a strong reliable way to not run out of stamps.
D. Thank you for all the efforts to keep the interior and exterior of the Napa St. property clean--no litter, etc. It's safe, too. So grateful.”
“Aruna was amazing! The service was exceptional, friendly, efficient, and helpful. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend Aruba! ❤”
