“We are new users of Propane gas for our appliances. I was concerned at first about the reliability of propane and its delivery. It turns out, the worries were unfounded. Propane works just like natural gas delivered by SDGE. And, Ferrell Gas makes delivery and storage seamless. They have wireless gauges that alert the Company when a tank top-off is required (generally when it is 30-40% full). They dispatch and fill without any involvement of the homeowner. They put the charge automatically on your account, which can be setup for auto-pay, if desired. So far, we have had 3 top-offs, and each was seamless.”
“Excellent installation/hook up customer service at our new house build.How Amerigas should have been up front with the total cost of installation of tank and hook up. All that was told us was the rental cost of the tank (which was reasonable), but nearly $1600 to install a 250 gal tank plus cost of the propane was extremely a big unwelcome surprise.”
