“This is the place to go if you like to express your individuality through unique materials, such as paper! Especially if you’re super tactile and love different textures because they’ve got it all, from textures to colors to shapes. I asked the owner, who has apparently been there for 60 years, and he mentioned that they do wedding invite papers as well as business cards. And if you love scrapbooking this is a hidden gem. They’ve got stuff from all over the world! I miss when places like these were the norm. Parking is usually found on the street, keep in mind the signs. Knock on the front door because they don’t keep it open. They accept cash, checks and Zelle but no credit cards.”
“I came in here on a whim on my way to blick as I’m starting a new series and was passing by, I was met by the kindest, most helpful older woman who turned out to be the owner. I drive by almost everyday but never stopped in. I’m so glad I did. They are well stocked and I found everything I needed. “Fantastic! A gem of a place to make the highest quality products. But be aware! Take your time. Warping in the molds can cause major problems. So ask careful questions and get more opinions than one, as each material is very specific. You can also call them or there are tons of resources online.
Be very aware with shrinking in mold materials, especially if using latex. It greatly shrinks, especially if molding large objects. I lost weeks of work to learn this by mistake. Here’s a few molds for a client, now it’s scrap! Remaking with Brush-on material. Brush-on also shrinks, especially when adding thicker types of brush-on series with thinner types (ie. brush-on 35 with 40) for added strength.”

It's one place out of two handfuls of Art Department and Special Effects suppliers IWS purchases from and although IWS doesn't get to visit in person for picking up Make-Up and Special Effects Supplies often IWS thinks they are the best in the business because it's been a family business for well over 30 years in motion pictures and television. Among the various supplies IWS stocks up on is mask latex, Silicone, Epoxy Resin, Gelatin, Clay, Bandages, Ultracal or Gypsum Stone, Lab Tools, brushes, straps, and more equipment and supplies.”
