Varooj is a super cool guy and is an HONEST mechanic. He could have upsold me many times, but instead he told me exactly what I did and didn’t need to do. And most of all he has like a sixth sense for cars, he is a master of his profession. I highly highly recommend this place.

I've had all my smogs done here for many years and recommended them to many friends and family, all without issue. Take that for what it's worth. They are very quick and have a clean shop.

Great smog place in town. Literally was in and out in less than an hour! The owner was so nice and attentive. It was highly recommend and now I know why. :D Don't forget to bring in your paperwork and cash if possible.

Dishonest mechanic.. when my smog didn’t pass he said he would pass it for 400$ I told him no. Charged me 100$ then when I come back with a new catalytic converter ready for a retest he tells me I would have to pay full for a retest. This guy is a cheat

I brought my Ford F-150 truck to Smog Masters test only to get a smog check. It failed. It passes Emissions, but failed Function due to ignition timing. He said after smog repair, come back for a 2nd free smog check to pass it. I took the truck to AYA to do the smog repair. Speedy Lane Automotive referred me to AYA. Varooj Aghazarian, the mechanic, repaired for $300: It was $140 for finding the correct timing mark and adjust timing. $80 for Repair coolant leak from ETC sensor. $71.75 for Smog Check. $8.25 for Smog Cert. $0 parts. It was all labor, no parts. Total Repair Time: 1.1 hours. Hourly Labor Rate: $125. He charged me for a 2nd smog sheck. I didn't ask for that. I wanted to take it back to Smog Masters to get a free 2nd smog check.Service: Smog certification
