General Store is a beautiful store and a well curated selection. The vibes are immaculate and street parking is plenty in residential streets. The shop feels comfortable with top-quality service at reasonable prices from start to finish. It is thoughtfully curated, respecting craft, design, utility, simplicity, and well-made nice things. Its Northern Cal/shaker/Topanga aesthetic appeals, and would buy half the stuff in the shop.
One of a kind space, divided but a beautiful arch and architectural inspiration. Loved everything…. Fashion art fabrics and atmosphere.

The outside is sooooo cute but the selection is always a little basic and doesn’t seem to evolve. Everything inside you could likely find in cuter colors/patterns in Palm Springs/Joshua Tree if you’re not a fan of the beige aesthetic.
