My husband and I recently spent a long weekend in Santa Monica to celebrate our 40th anniversary. I was excited to discover there was a Le Labo in Venice as I'd been wanting to try out these scents I'd been hearing so much about! We walked in and were hit with the most delicious scents and greeted warmly by Quincy. She asked if we'd ever been in before and explained some background on the brand when we said we were newbies. She then asked us some questions about things we liked/disliked and also what sort of feeling we wanted when we wore a fragrance. After some patient guidance and lots of sniffing, we settled on two we loved. My hubby got the Vetiver 46 and I got the Lys 41 because it made me feel like I was smelling my wedding bouquet. After loading us up with samples for the hotel we were staying in, she invited us to come back the next time we're in town. Such a memorable anniversary and the perfect scents to take us back to this weekend thanks to Quincy!

Customer service suck! They need to RETRAIN their employees on how to treat each 1 of their customers! They made me feel like I couldn't afford to buy anything and at that they most def. Had attitude. They asked for my ID which they didn't even bother checking and also asked for my email which I showed them and they gave me what I purchased aggressively! I will be going again and I will be writing a review and including names of the employees as well. You can't go around treating people like they are nothing. Most people probably get paid more than they do for them to be acting like that! It's ABSURD! Stereotyping me for being a Latina woman!

If you experience any issue with the staff at Venice or any other store, I suggest filing a complaint by going to Contact US, In Store Service and fill the form on the website. Rudeness, bias, inefficiency, unhelpful staff brings sales and business down, so take action to get them replaced. Other stores have a normal friendly very different experience.

Let me preface this review by saying that Le Labo is excellent. I’ve had no issues with the perfumes directly.
My issue is with the staff at this store in particular. Extreme wealth bias. They look at you, and if you don’t look wealthy, expect subpar or in my case, completely ignoring me while I wait in line to purchase a bottle. This is the third time this has happened. The lady in the front counter even let an older gentlemen pay first after I waited 10+ minutes because she assumed I was not doing anything waiting at the counter? Staff needs to be retrained.

I love le labo but the woman working here did not even look at us while we stood for around 15 minutes waiting to be greeted at the very least. This location just lost a customer!

This is my favorite perfume ever. I've been coming here for years and can never go back to any other perfume brand. I've tried a lot of different scents since I was young and the Noir 29 is my absolute favorite. Every time I walk into this store the staff are incredibly helpful, especially Quincy their store manager. She always knows the right recommendations to give me when I'm curious to try a new scent since I love the Noir 29 so much. I always get compliments from my friends on my perfume and send them to this Le Labo on Abbot Kinney. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a holiday gift and a scent that will last the whole day!

They sold me a defective product & they would not exchange it. The lady who is the manager at the store was so rude. They were asking me for a receipt. I didn't save it because it wasn't like I was buying a laptop. I said you could look it up by me email. They said they couldn't because of a privacy act. She refused to help at all. I was a loyal customer for years but Le Labo is played out now anyway. Hello Byredo!!! I am not supporting a company that treats customers so poorly.

This le labo store not only has amazing fragrances... but the staff to match! Quincy, the store manager especially was kind, succinct and incredibly helpful at my stop in! Cannot recommend this store enough... through both the quality of fragrances are always top notch, the quality of the employees there is what ultimately made me a customer for life.

This place makes scents. My fiancé was seeking a gift for her girlfriends. I was already familiar with their products based upon using it at a hotel that carries a scent called Bergamote 22.We were helped by Quincy and Robert. They both were personable and made a great impression on us. Quincy knew exactly what fragrance I was speaking of when I mentioned that I loved it when I smelled it at a hotel. The scents, music, and scents were all so good that after my fiancé bought 2 Basil hand creams and 2 hand soaps for her girlfriends, we decided to return after lunch. We ended up buying 2 more bottles of each. Quincy and Robert both wrapped the gifts and we chatted a little more before exiting.Le Labo products sell themselves, but we bought the experience provided by Quincy and Robert.
