Small World Books is a cute, cozy local bookstore located right on the beach in Venice Beach. It is a little gem, a rough diamond, and a sunken treasure offering an amazing, curated selection of books. This includes a big sci-fi and fantasy section, an extensive wall of zines, a fine selection of poetry, feminist sociology, and a landscape of heaping tables ranging interests from sketchbooks to beach reads. It is like falling into a fantasy story, a life-giving cutaway and a portal for the curious mind. The staff is fantastic, friendly, very helpful, kind, and welcoming. The shop also has sweet resident bookstore cats. It is a trip-worthy place for bookshop lovers of all kinds.
Bizarre location - was one of the only bookstores where I was able to find the flowers of evil in both French and English - so winning!

I was visiting LA back in March and I went into this bookstore—it was awesome. But I was just rewatching Gilmore Girls and realized this is the same bookstore from S3E21! I recognized it immediately. So cool.
