Don't bother calling after 4:30 pm. They don't answer the phone after that time. Called early the next day. Nobody answered before 11 AMI took my business to Gibbs.

Took RV in for Generator diagnostics and repair. Amy, Patty and the tech that repaired my RV were awesome! Friendly, professional , knowledgeable service that they provided was something I don't see very often anymore! Extremely happy customer here!

I live in the Bay Area and tried for a week or two to reach the Sacramento shop but nobody answered. I was taking my RV on a trip to socal so decided to call these guys to service the coach and generator. They promptly answered and scheduled an appointment. I dropped it off at 8 AM. They put a couple techs on it and had it done in a few hours. And to top it all off kindly extended me a great price for military service. This is a solid company, unfortunately not common these days. I will be making the extra drive here for future service and repairs. Many thanks to the team for working so efficiently making it easy for me to get the service done. Highly recommended!!

We had just got our RV generator serviced the day before and were on the road for a family vacation. When we fired up the generator my husband noticed that fuel was leaking. It started with a small leak then it got pretty bad and we were losing fuel fast. We ended up capping the fuel from the tank and decided to hit the road. On our way we tested our luck and stopped at Cummins in Ventura. The service department help desk was very friendly and accommodated us right away. Their technical, Briar, diagnosed on the spot and was extremely knowledgeable and was able to quickly identify the issues. He resolved the problem quickly and thoroughly tested to make sure the leak was gone. We are so Thankful and Grateful to the whole team at Cummins Ventura for their time and their expertise. Now our 1 year can enjoy the AC in the hot weather. Thank you so much!!!

I drove my RV Diesel from the mid-west to California and had engine problems along the way. The coach was acting like it was starving for fuel and I barely made it into the Cummin's Ventura shop. Cummin's had the coach for 3 weeks and never called once to inform me of any progress. I called numerous times and continued to hear, "we've got our best guys on it." Fast forward - I was told they ran 19 hours of testing ($1,750) in charges and could find nothing wrong. There were 38 fuel errors recorded by the engine computer, but they could not duplicate. Mind you, they never actually inspected the fuel filter, air filter or any other part. Only after I called to contest the bill, did they agree to go back in and replace the fuel filter. During the entire 3 weeks they had the coach, they never called to advise me they were racking up billable hours. After I picked up the coach, they admitted that the only work they did was to keep placing a "diagnostic machine" on the coach - which allegedly confirmed, everything is fine. They also allege that they needed additional equipment to test the unit while driving it- so they "allege: they paid another mechanic from another local business - who had this additional equipment - to drive the unit 40 miles (3 hours) and could not duplicate. I finally picked up the coach, paid their outrageous bill and took the coach to a local mechanic with Cummin's experience. The local mechanic inspected the entire system - and found that both the fuel filter (I had Ventura Cummin's give me the filter they replaced) and air filters were clogged. Cummin's was unapologetic and held fast that they did their job. Personally, I like the people that work there, but I don't believe they did anything but go thru the motions of placing the coach on a machine to tell them what to do. They did no troubleshooting whatsoever, to resolve fix my coach. Unfortunately, these are a sign of the times. No one wants to work and finding people with actual mechanical or troubleshooting skills is impossible to find. I had used this same facility years ago with very satisfactory results, but apparently things have changed. Based on this experience, I will never let them touch any of my vehicles ever again and would warn anyone else from taking their coaches/vehicle there.

I dropped off a generator back in March and they were unable to fix it and haven't able to replace it either very very disappointed

I have never had worse service from any provider of any service of any kind. Service manager would never call me back...over 10 times! They promised information to me and never provided it. They charged me a ton of money to take apart my generator, then could not find parts to fix it. They gave me a quote to fix it that costs more than the generator. I have never written a negative Yelp review before, but the terrible responsiveness, bad advice, and lack of follow through compelled me to write this to warn others.

Marlene at the parts department is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I have an older generator and she finds those difficult parts. Others in her department are very good too. thank you ONAN Team!
