We had a kind room with a harbor view and the sunset was gorgeous. The rooms are nice with comfortable pillows and mattress. The staff was very nice. The free breakfast offers many options . It was a great location for taking the Ferry to Channel Islands. Lots of great restaurant choices around the harbor.

We liked the hotel itself and its proximity to our destination (whale watching tour from Ventura harbor), but was shocked after our bicycle (chained and locked to our car bike rack) was stolen in broad daylight in the hotel parking lot.

Usually I don’t go to ground floor rooms but here it is definitely worth it. The ground floor rooms are just huge in size and they give you a nice view over the Marina.
