“Convienetly located on Harbor Blvd next to consignment store and share fishing/bait and tackle shop. The owners work there and are very nice. Has pretty much everything including liquor, beer, wine, soda and snacks.”
“The only reason I give it a 4 is the lay out is horrible! way too crowded and confusing when trying to figurr out where to stand.HOWEVER DONT LEAVE YET!!! this place had the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE HAD AT ANY LIQUOR STORE IN VENTURA!!!! “This store used to be named Sam's Liquor store, owned by my Father in law a little short very loving Sicilian man & his son who was only 14 yrs old @ that time, now my husband. Together I believe, they both helped made Sam's liquor store what it is today. He will be missed by Many who knew him as he passed away way too young @ age 55 in 1975 & his Spirit lives on Forever ???♥️”
“I stopped by to check out the lunch options. They have a fairly extensive menu, more than I expected. I've tried the tuna sandwich and a pork and chicken tamale so far. The tamales were both excellent and the sandwich was very good with lots of tuna. I look forward to going back and trying more of their menu items.

I took my lol one there to get him a strawberry milk and my boy Bodhi was saying dad can I have one of those marbles? They were in a case in front.. “Stayed in a rental for a couple of days. My go-to for snacks without leaving the area and I walked there like the locals do. Family owned spot and the young kid at the register can give you good recommendations if you are simply visiting.”
“This is our go to liquor and convenience store! The owner is the best and he always keeps his prices competitive. Make sure to check the fridge aisles out to see if theres anything you wouldn't expect but love to see kept chilled.”
“The clerk can seem a little stoic, but I like him and think he is a friendly caring person. I like it when he prays/sings and think it is beautiful his devotion. Coming from a different culture I have had friends of mine misunderstand him. It must be tough to be a Muslim in America. I am in awe of most Muslim's devotion to their faith and how God/Allah is so often praised and part of their life. He is very helpful and I hope to visit his store more and hope I am being respectful in guessing his faith, because I haven't actually asked him about it.”
“While the older man at the counter (owner?) can be a bit brusk he's crazy efficient. The short lady in the mornings is always a joy to see.
Small aisles as expected for a small store but always clean and well stocked. Very decent wine selection for their size.
I consider myself lucky to have them nearby.”

“This is so worth your money ?. Single momma to 7 I pay for 4 of my children it's $100.00 a month. Air conditioner is perfect to get out as a family on a hot day to be able to still have fun together inside instead of the park & heat. They hold special Days throughout the month like bring a friend day. Free snack on pajama day etc.... The employees have always been pleasant and kind. The restroom ? are always stocked & clean when we've come. The employees keep it tidy the ables or any spills. Summer ? 2023 so far has been memorable glad we became members of sky zone of Ventura ?. “TOURIST TRAP. Absolutely awful experience.
The second I walked in, I was hit with the overwhelming stench of cigarettes—it felt more like a smoke lounge than a liquor store. The cashier might genuinely be one of the rudest people I’ve ever come across. Not a single word came out of his mouth the entire time. Just eye rolls and blank stares. When I asked for a specific brand, he pointed without even looking in the direction he was gesturing to. No help, no effort, no basic courtesy. The energy in the store was uncomfortable, the service was nonexistent, and even their selection was disappointing. I’ll never step foot in here again. Avoid this place.”
