“We were on vacation in area and needed to lighten our travel load a bit by sending some of our luggage back home. The man who helped us had the boxes for us and found the best ground transportation for us at the best price. Our packages actually beat us home. We highly recommend coastal postal!”

“I use this place to ship because it’s better than standing in a line for 15-20 mins at some other post office. They are always friendly when I walk in and professional greeting with a smile! Never have had an issue always a super short line maybe 1-2 people but over half the time I walk in I do not have to wait. I love this place and will definitely keep shipping there!”

“This was the BEST experience I’ve had in a long time at a USPS branch. I brought in a box of my own but the super friendly (and beautiful) associate helped me determine that a flat rate large box was best. With the flat rate shipping boxes you can use the priority mail tape and labels as well included in the price. I’m super happy with my experience here.”

“I’ve been coming to this Santa Clara Street post office regularly for many years.

As an eBay seller, I ship packages several days a week, so I’ve spent a lot of time here over the years. It’s one of those classic Ventura buildings that has long been part of the town’s history. The architecture and the historic murals inside — painted in the 1930s as part of a federal arts project — give the place real character.

Over the years I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It can get busy like any downtown location, but it’s a steady, dependable branch that I’ve relied on for a long time..

For me, this isn’t just a quick drop-off spot — it’s part of my weekly routine.”

“Rayanna was doing the work of 3 employees. I hope she is being recognized and getting paid for it. Remodeling and she still can work in an organized matter. She went above and beyond to help me I appreciate her customer service”

“Let's set our expectations correctly here folks: this is a small, one counter post office with odd hours. Knowing that, I still use this post office over the bigger one by the high school any day. This is a fantastic post office if you need to do simple transactions on a non-busy/holiday day.

Mark is lovely, kind and helpful, unlike his counterparts at the bigger post office off Telegraph/Wake Forest.”

“As an eBay seller, I regularly come to the FedEx location at 4360 East Main Street here in Ventura.

Most of the time I pre-print my labels at home, so it’s just a quick stop to drop off packages.

What I really like is the convenient location and the nice, big parking lot. There’s usually plenty of parking, and I don’t have to walk far—even when I’m bringing in heavier packages. They also have carts available inside, which makes a big difference. I can grab a cart, head out to my truck, load it up, and wheel everything in without any hassle.

I also really like the self-service kiosk. Instead of waiting in line, I can scan my packages right there and get a receipt emailed to me, which is perfect. You can print a receipt too, but I prefer going paperless—it’s fast and easy to type email address into kiosk and less paperwork I have to keep at home.

Overall, it’s a very efficient setup, especially if you’re shipping regularly.”

“Been going here for over 20 years. Never had a package lost. I do have a problem with one clerk but I haven’t seen him lately. The other clerks are courteous and efficient. You get offered all options for mailing. You can also buy cards and stamps. Self service kiosk inside.”
