“Always a treat to stop in here. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Checkout was busy but moved quickly. Cashier 5765 was very patient and helped us place book orders! Will definitely be back again soon!”
“such a beautiful and well kept store there’s so many miniatures to look at for different seasons and purposes. we were driving by and visited and the staff was extremely friendly :)”
“Art House & Co. is one of those shops you hope to find when wandering around Ventura — thoughtful, beautifully curated, and full of pieces that feel genuinely special. The selection is excellent, with a mix of art, home goods, and creative finds that make browsing half the fun.
What really makes the place stand out, though, is the owner. Super welcoming, passionate about the pieces in the shop, and happy to chat without ever feeling pushy. It gives the whole place a warm, personal touch that’s hard to fake.
Pro tip: Take your time browsing — there are lots of small details and unique items you might miss on a quick walk-through.”
“Cool toys. Kids love this place! Some things can be expensive though. Bought some bluey figurines, 8 of them for 32 dollars. I thought it was expensive for all that plastic.”
“A store filled with childhood wonders and for collectible enthusiasts. Bought a bunch of monster high dolls and a lps. Very organized and store owner was very kind and communicative. Would go back again.”
“I always love coming to Lakeshore! The store is always so nicely organized and everything is so colorful! It’s a fun store to look around when you’re killing time! When I was ready to pay, the cashier named Samantha was very wonderful! Very friendly and informative! I’ll definitely be coming back when I get a chance!”

“This shop is a gem in Ventura County for all the Warhammer lovers. It’s small but has plenty of models to choose from, as well as a good selection of paints. The main employee of the store, Ryan, is so genuine. He’s very welcoming and easy to talk to. He’ll suggest paints or even enjoy small talk about anything Warhammer related. He is holding it down, literally! This store is worth coming back to every time because of the atmosphere and how kind Ryan is.”
“Rocket Fizz is just so fun. They can make anyone feel like a kid in a candy shop.
If the candy still exists, they probably have it. Candy from your childhood, new candy, imports: it's all here. Same goes for sodas - from Barq's to BBQ, Dr. Pepper to Pickle, the selection is comical.
They also stock quite a few novelties, posters, knick knacks, like if candy were a toy. Things without substance. And it's just such a treat to do a loop through the store, grab something delicious, and laugh about the crazy sodas they have.”
