“Best vet I have ever been to! I make the drive from Santa Barbara anytime my guinea pigs need to be seen because I know they are in good hands at The Animal Doctor. Dr. Wilson is incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. She listens and takes the time to explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand, and doesn’t make appointments feel rushed. She is so gentle with my guinea pigs and goes above and beyond to make sure they are under as little stress as possible during the exam.”

“Dr Watson has been our vet for the last 40 years. She is kind, caring and sensitive to not only pets but also to the owners. Her way of euthanasia is amazing and gentle to all in a very emotional situation. i can't recommend her enough.”

“These people are a God send everyone was so sweet. Two of my dogs were tracked by a pitbull mix and these women came to the rescue. Dr. Joseph was so sweet. Do NOT go to Horizon ever down the road go to VSMG 100% they actually care about animals. Love this team!!!”
“If it wasn't for Moore, my childhood tabby cat would have died a year prior and my family and I wouldn't have had an extra year with her. The vet treated my cat well, and it amazes me how she's able to keep it together when creatures are going through a lot of discomfort. She also treated my boyfriend's friend's bearded dragon, as well as his own Chinese Water Dragon lizard (it's great to have a local vet who can work with reptiles by the way!) Karen Moore always had their best interest in mind and made certain the pet owner knew every possible outcome, as well as how things could/would work. She gave me peace of mind.The staff are also very good. They're polite, friendly, and always enthusiastic to help a client.I don't care what a couple of reviewers say. They're obviously using the vet as a scapegoat for their frustration and pain during hardship, because Moore did everything she could to help the pets either I or my husband brought in.”
“Dr. Moore has cared for all of my pets. Moore vet care quickly and accurately diagnosed and treated my parrot’s broken wing. He is healed now and has normal function of his wing. My bulldog gets regular vaccines and annual checkups and she loves the staff! Dr. Moore is very knowledgeable on exotic pet care and I trust her whenever my rabbit has any health issues. My babies are happy and healthy thanks to the amazing team.”

“Late Saturday evening, we had to euthanize our dachsie, Jasmin. With great sensitivity, Office Manager Devon told us to bring her in right away and guided us through the process. The entire staff at Horizon was extremely kind and compassionate throughout this whole devastating experience, especially Dr. Nora Badal. Her expert care in performing the procedure was exceptional. We've been through many such situations before so we are able to confidently make such a statement regarding Dr. Badal. We are grateful that the back staff fell in love with Jasmin for the short time she was with them. THANK YOU ever so much, Horizon! We would recommend Horizon with the highest regard!”
“I wanted to get my Lab, Momos' nails clipped before the holidays, a prescription refill and his weight taken. Luckily both staff and Momo were available at 2pm on the day I called. Momo lost over 3 lbs, yeah his diet was slowly working, and staff suggested some healthy snacks like zucchini, and celery. The vet checked Momo and refilled his thyroid prescription, so all our needs were met, efficiently, timely and the staff were very busy yet very helpful and courteous. What more could I ask for! Thank you Banfield Pet Hosp.”

“The reviews are all true! Dr. Kendra AND her staff are amazing. I drive over 3 hours total to get care and it is worth it. My little diva Marilyn had some dental issues and needed many extractions. Dr. Kendra and her team did an incredible job and Miss Marilyn is so happy and thankful!”
