“Finding good healthcare customer service in Visalia can be incredibly frustrating. Far too often at other medical facilities, you are treated like cattle in a long line rather than a human being. This pharmacy is the absolute exception to the rule. I am new to town and didn't have my new Medi-Cal card yet. When I called, they couldn't find my insurance on file but kindly told me to just come in anyway. The moment I walked in, an Asian lady with a warm, welcoming smile greeted me and was very attentive. She passed my case to a gentleman who was just as nice, and they went above and beyond to run my old card until they successfully located my file. The only issue was that my ADHD medication was out of stock. Because it's a black box medication, missing a dose can really disrupt your mental health, so I was initially worried. They promised to order it first thing Monday morning to have it by Monday afternoon. Since today is Friday and I just took my last dose, I am really counting on that timeline! I briefly thought about giving four stars because a heads-up call when they found out they didn’t have my insurance information before I drove over would have been ideal, because it would have given them enough time to locate me in the system and order it that same day. Ultimately, at the end of the day, what matters most in Visalia’s healthcare system at this point for me is being treated with empathy, dignity, and true care. The nice scented store and cool turtle tank give it a welcoming, homie vibe. They treated me exactly how they would want to be treated, and that earns them a well-deserved five stars. Hoping my meds arrive on Monday as promised!”
“The store itself is great, friendly staff, large quantity of inventory, if you have a large shopping list, Costco is your go to store for more than just groceries, but if you’re planning on shopping small, you might wanna go to a smaller chain, such as Walmart or Winco”
“Had several prescriptions at RiteAid and got tired of getting the run around and waiting in long lines. I've been going to Kaweah Health Pharmacy for a few months now, and they are very efficient, professional and fast! They even got certified to dispense a particularly difficult medication I was having RiteAid fill, which was always a problem there. But KHP hasn't skipped a beat yet. Wish I'd switched a lot sooner! They will even bring it out to your car if you call them.”

“The have mostly everything you need at a decent price some of the stuff you can get elsewhere for a little cheaper depending on what you want but as far as feeding the family goes for 10 or $15 Chinese pizza chicken wings the frozen food section is spectacular the dairy section they have just about everything juices, coffee clothing around the house do it yourself? Security cameras sometimes every now and again you can find a great deal. You can get something for $20-$50 that they sell online for $150 or more.. I try and stay away from because I always double up on the stuff I already have”

Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
