“Been going here for years. Dr. Matt and all the ladies up front are incredible. They are friendly, helpful, and super efficient. They also are all animal people.
I’m kinda flabbergasted at these poor reviews saying bad customer service. My guess is they got what they gave.
Oh and FYI, their website states they are currently not accepting new clients. Which is a bummer for people looking for a good consistent vet to return to.”

“Very happy with the staff and treatment of our dog. Front office staff are helpful. The vet didn't recommend a plethora of vaccines and unnecessary treatments, which other vets have at other clinics. We have been twice for our dog and feel good about continuing with his care there.”

“We had to bring our sweet 18 year old kitty in this weekend for end of life assistance, which was very traumatic as it was our first experience with having a pet put to sleep. Everyone was so wonderful at the clinic. They were kind and gentle with both my husband and I, and our Jasmine. Every step was explained and we were given as much time as we needed to say goodbye and make arrangements for her cremation. The office was tidy and welcoming and we felt very comfortable there.”

“The bedside manner of staff and Doctor were amazing through this difficult time. It's such a comfort to know there are people who truly care not just about us, but for our animals as well. We had to have our 17 year old dog Tiffany put to rest and had set a 2 pm appointment for the next day. We were up all night dealing with the difficulties of her issues and decided to show up to the office when they opened to see if we could get her suffering to end any sooner. They took us in immediately and showed soo much compassion it made helping our precious girl to get to her final rest soo much easier. Thank you Doc and staff of Care Veterinary Clinic!!”

After my own vet told me that it would be a month before they could get me in, I started making calls. Care was the only vet to call me back and get me in that week. Dr. Martin spent every appointment answering my questions, running tests, and brainstorming what might be going on. This meant a lot because my last vet never spoke to me face”

Your search for a new vet ends here. Never in my life have I been so completely comfortable with letting my dogs go to the back. These people care and it shows in the way they take care of your animals. My female dog is a breeze, she likes everybody BUT my male dog strongly dislikes strangers and they did everything they could to make him comfortable and succeeded! After his check up, he was brought out with a happy face and no muzzle! Any vet that’s willing to work with my not so easy going dog, is a vet worth visiting again and again.
If you’re not sure, please do yourself a favor and give this veterinary office a chance. You will not regret it.”
“I am very impressed with the caring service I received today at Valley Oak. We had end of life services done on our poor dog with cancer. Staff were so caring and empathetic. They explained every detail of the procedure and gave us the time we needed to say bye. It was very refreshing to see that level of services. Thank you all for the great service and care.”

“It's been a long time since my last review. This has been my vet for over a decade now. Most of the staff is great and they always take care of my dogs. I've had a cancerous tumor removed, teeth extracted, numerous tests done, all spay and neuters and multiple other visits and have never left unsatisfied. When money was tight, they worked with me. When I've been on the verge if tears worried about my dogs, they've done everything to assure me my dogs were good. They always try to fit me in when my dogs get sick. They are able to handle my husky who is a big baby and my mutt who has severe trust issues from being dumped before i saved him. When my dog passed away at the emergency vet, they sent me a card. If you are looking for a quick/cheap fix for your pets, this probably isn't the place for you. But when your pets are your family and you want the best care possible, then Care at the Courtyard is your place!”

“I took my dog to a vet in Fresno, and they refused to put him to sleep despite kidney failure because "he looked happy and healthy and he is too young(2-1/2)" mind you he was sick, and shaking and not in good shape visibly. I called this pet hospital, and they took wonderful care of us. They told us what they could do for us and my dog, and they wouldn't promise anything over the phone, but will give us an evaluation and let us know. They were very patient with us as distraught and emotional pet parents. My boy went to sleep peacefully and the vet tech was wonderful, gave us as much time as we needed. I pray I don't have to, but I'd take my other pup back if here if I had to.”
“Always have what I need here. No issues . For the most part I like all the staff their awesome their very clean about their place. I can't see why people would complain”
