“We had to bring our sweet 18 year old kitty in this weekend for end of life assistance, which was very traumatic as it was our first experience with having a pet put to sleep. Everyone was so wonderful at the clinic. They were kind and gentle with both my husband and I, and our Jasmine. Every step was explained and we were given as much time as we needed to say goodbye and make arrangements for her cremation. The office was tidy and welcoming and we felt very comfortable there.”
“Dr. Shafer is the best vet on the planet. She is such a kind person with an amazing heart. She has taken excellent care of our dogs for the last 5 years, and our beloved cat CC for 17 years. Dr. Shafer was by our side, going above and beyond when CC was diagnosed with cancer about 6 months ago. She did everything she could for our CC. When she became too sick, the pain too much for her to bear and couldn’t fight anymore. Dr. Shafer helped us through the most heart breaking time in our lives. When you meet her, you immediately feel like you’ve known her your whole life. That’s just the kind of person she is. Thank you Dr. Shafer.”

After my own vet told me that it would be a month before they could get me in, I started making calls. Care was the only vet to call me back and get me in that week. Dr. Martin spent every appointment answering my questions, running tests, and brainstorming what might be going on. This meant a lot because my last vet never spoke to me face”

“The bedside manner of staff and Doctor were amazing through this difficult time. It's such a comfort to know there are people who truly care not just about us, but for our animals as well. We had to have our 17 year old dog Tiffany put to rest and had set a 2 pm appointment for the next day. We were up all night dealing with the difficulties of her issues and decided to show up to the office when they opened to see if we could get her suffering to end any sooner. They took us in immediately and showed soo much compassion it made helping our precious girl to get to her final rest soo much easier. Thank you Doc and staff of Care Veterinary Clinic!!”

“I took my dog to a vet in Fresno, and they refused to put him to sleep despite kidney failure because "he looked happy and healthy and he is too young(2-1/2)" mind you he was sick, and shaking and not in good shape visibly. I called this pet hospital, and they took wonderful care of us. They told us what they could do for us and my dog, and they wouldn't promise anything over the phone, but will give us an evaluation and let us know. They were very patient with us as distraught and emotional pet parents. My boy went to sleep peacefully and the vet tech was wonderful, gave us as much time as we needed. I pray I don't have to, but I'd take my other pup back if here if I had to.”

“It's been a long time since my last review. This has been my vet for over a decade now. Most of the staff is great and they always take care of my dogs. I've had a cancerous tumor removed, teeth extracted, numerous tests done, all spay and neuters and multiple other visits and have never left unsatisfied. When money was tight, they worked with me. When I've been on the verge if tears worried about my dogs, they've done everything to assure me my dogs were good. They always try to fit me in when my dogs get sick. They are able to handle my husky who is a big baby and my mutt who has severe trust issues from being dumped before i saved him. When my dog passed away at the emergency vet, they sent me a card. If you are looking for a quick/cheap fix for your pets, this probably isn't the place for you. But when your pets are your family and you want the best care possible, then Care at the Courtyard is your place!”
