Brengle Terrace Park is a city-owned local park in Vista. It is a highlight and a must-go-to place, considered what a park should be. The park contains numerous amenities including a disc golf course that is difficult and requires hiking up steep terrain. There are multiple baseball and softball fields, lighted basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts, with at least one tennis court typically available. Other features include bocce ball courts, a sand volleyball area, playground equipment, and the Kiwanis Pavilion. The park offers multiple picnic areas, public art, and open space for play. It is home to the Moonlight Amphitheatre and is within walking distance of the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens. A small trail walk area with a bridge connects to a larger trail system. The park hosts many city programs and alternate sporting events. Security is provided.
Best place in North San Diego County to watch fireworks for the 4th of July! You can see the fireworks from all the surrounding villages and towns as well as a spectacular firework display from Vista. We have been coming here for more than 25 years.
