About Guajome Regional Park

Guajome Regional Park is a big and nice park in the Oceanside area, offering a beautiful and serene natural setting with a lake. The lake features lots of ducks and geese, with some people fishing. It provides very good and well-kept hiking trails, including unpaved trails along the water, allowing for an easy full loop of about three miles that is not strenuous. The park is perfect for walking a dog on a leash, with everyone noted as respectful and friendly and ample waste bag stations. For recreation, there is a wonderful playground with a new shaded setup, an exercise area, soccer fields, basketball courts, and sand volleyball. Picnic areas offer tables with places to grill. The park also includes a trailer camping area with campsites close together, noted for its beautiful surroundings. Parking costs $3, increasing to $5 on a specified date, and payment is not cash. Visitors recommend taking a photo of the map as trails and roads are not well marked for a first-time walker. Restrooms are available, described as clean and neat in the day use areas and clean for campers.
