“The coaching at Odyssey Performance took my athletes to the next level.

My oldest began training at Odyssey the summer before freshman year. He was going into a very competitive sports high school and even though he previously played football and travel basketball, we knew going into high school the competition to make an impact on the teams was going to be tough. He thought he was doing everything he could to get better, but Odyssey is what set him apart. After just 3 months his physique, endurance, and strength dramatically improved and it showed in his athletic performance.

He began training 3 days a week in group classes led by multiple coaches. It doesn’t matter which coach you train with, they are all on the same page. The first week my son had difficulty keeping up with the challenges, but I watched the coach Desean sit with him and talk him through the mental barriers, allowing him to progress physically. Then he took off.

Freshman year he made all the teams he tried out for, and became a starter by the end of the season. Varsity football Coach Hauser noticed his excellent form and dynamic power in the weight room immediately. He continued training at Odyssey after practices and on weekends. By sophomore year he was called up to varsity, and was a playmaker on the football team. He had his first in game dunk sophomore year of basketball, after Desean taught him how to jump with purpose and confidence.

He’s now rounding the end of his junior year, preparing for his senior year and still choosing to train at Odyssey. He’s been contacted by multiple college recruiters for athletics and plans to continue to play in college. We give our son a lot of credit for putting in the extra work, but the atmosphere Odyssey gives has made the training easier. Connecting with other advanced athletes from teams in the area he wouldn’t have otherwise connected with.

Odyssey Performance helped my athletes become bigger, faster, stronger, but it also gave them responsibility, accountability, and confidence. Everyone goes to practice. It’s what you do in addition to practice that sets you apart.”

“I have been working out with Lorraine and a small group of gals for about 3 months. I have to say, in these 3 shorts months, I have noticed a big difference in my overall feeling of well being. “Since I moved to Vista and had to put my gym equipment in storage this gym has been a lifesaver. Has all the free weights and kettlebells I need plus mobility sticks which are a great addition to my routine. 24hr access, showers, bins for your bags, and a turf area as well. The manager and coach are very friendly and are there for you if you have any questions. I’ve also noticed most of the gym goers there are friendly if that matters to you. It might not be for everyone in regards to price and how small it is compared to other gyms, but it has everything you need to help you on your fitness journey.”

“Considering the location and how long PF has been around as well as $10, for basic cost you get your money worth. I have been a Black Card member since I started years ago and its worth it. I have traveled between SC and CA and stop at PF all over. This location is staffed well, great guys and gals to greet you. Bathrooms and showers clean even after all the people that uses it. “I really like this location The people are more friendly here maybe it's because it's smaller. However too many of the patrons do not shower before using the pool or that jacuzzi I don't know what they are thinking, they don't think about hair body lotion and it antiperspirant makeup not to mention the other natural things that fall off the body and end up in the water. Come on people do the shower for the greater good of everyone”
