Residence Inn Walnut Creek offers a comfortable stay with clean rooms and a good breakfast, making it a popular choice for repeat visitors. The location is highly convenient, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, Target, and other amenities, with some guests recommending Uber for shopping trips to nearby areas. The staff, especially the front desk team, is generally friendly and helpful, with some guests highlighting exceptional service from managers and receptionists. However, the hotel has some drawbacks. There have been incidents like a guest slipping in the shower and getting a large bruise, with the management's response being unhelpful and condescending. Minor issues such as ants in the bathroom and Wi-Fi problems on certain nights can also occur. Some guests find the valet-only parking expensive and inconvenient. Additionally, rooms facing the BART station suffer from 24/7 noise, which was not addressed during construction. Overall, Residence Inn Walnut Creek is a high-end option with good amenities and excellent location, but potential noise and parking costs are factors to consider.
