Savers is a global thrift retailer that offers a wide selection of gently used clothing, accessories, and household goods. As a for-profit business, their "Rethink Reuse" model allows them to purchase donated goods from over 100 nonprofit organizations, providing revenue to support community programs and services. Savers also diverts over 700 million pounds of used goods from landfills each year through their resale and recycling efforts. The Savers stores are generally well-organized and clean, with a constantly changing inventory. Customers report being able to find many valuable items, though some feel prices have risen too high over the years. The staff at Savers stores are consistently described as friendly, helpful, and caring, with one employee in particular receiving high praise. While some customers prefer the previous Somerville location, the Walnut Creek Savers store is viewed positively overall. The high volume of customers on weekends can lead to crowded parking lots, but the unique finds and great customer service seem to make up for any minor inconveniences. Shoppers are encouraged to keep an open mind and reset their expectations when visiting Savers, as its for-profit business model differs from traditional non-profit thrift stores.
First time and loved it. Tempted by a few items but only bought one at a bargain price on this trip. Worth the wander! Busy mid-day.

Still a big store with a lot of good finds, but the clothing prices have gotten too high. I may as well buy new (mens) pants and shirts at Ross.
