Hours: The Hampton Inn & Suites Watsonville is a nice and well-kept hotel conveniently located close to the freeway, with easy access and plenty of parking. It is a great place to stay when visiting Sunset State Beach and is perfect for families, being kid-friendly. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, featuring comfy beds, room-darkening shades, and easy-to-use air conditioning. The indoor swimming pool is clean and inviting, though the water is not heated and can be quite cold. A hot tub is not available. The breakfast buffet is lovely, standard but nice to have, and includes tasty options like mini omelets, sausage, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, scones, bagels, muffins, cereal, and fruit. Coffee, tea, and water are available around the clock in the lobby. Staff are nice and provide excellent customer service, with easy check-in. The hotel offers digital keys and physical cards. Some minor criticisms include bathroom lights that turn on automatically with movement, a fridge without a freezer compartment, and occasional wifi or lighting issues. Overall, it is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay.
