About The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center is a clean, well-organized store that offers a variety of quality items at reasonable prices. Customers appreciate that the store opens early at 9:00 am, allowing for a full shopping experience before the day gets busy. The store features spacious racks that are easy to browse, and shoppers have found many treasures, including brands like Madewell, J.Crew, Banana Republic, Maeve, and vintage Victoria’s Secret. While some items are priced without discounts for flaws or stains, the overall prices are generally not as high as other thrift stores like Savers. Shoppers sometimes find the pricing system confusing, especially with signs indicating prices that may differ at checkout based on item condition or classification, and tags pierced through clothing can damage items. The donation process is efficient, with friendly staff helping unload large hauls and providing clear guidance on acceptable items, including working electronics and furniture in good condition. The donation center is busy but well-managed, with convenient drop-off hours from 9 am to 8 pm. Staff members are helpful, knowledgeable, and dedicated to supporting the organization's mission. The store functions as the primary funding source for local Adult Rehab Centers, helping to combat addiction, homelessness, and substance abuse in the community. Donations and purchases give hope and a second chance to those in need, making the store not just a shopping destination but also a vital community resource.
Came for the special $2.99 every piece of clothing. Sad to see alot of Shein and Forever 21 fast fashion.
