Horrible services. We couldn't even get a $1 Poncho or anything behind a glass door requiring a key. Waited 45 min plus for the poncho and another 10 min for something else (behind the glass) when we went back inside for some hand sanitizers n ice cream. We didn't get an explanation or an apology and just left without those items. A bunch of workers standing around, one was on his phone n told me he couldn't help at all since he didn't have a key n went back on his personal phone. He seemed like he was on his social media website n had to get back on it while sitting in the corner on the floor.

Horrible customer service don't do pickup unless you want to wait in the parking lot for a hour.

On May 29th @approximately 23:18 I was leaving Walmart at 755 Riverpoint Ct in West Sacramento. I had just purchased supplies for a family member who recently came down with COVID. Upon approaching the door, I noticed 2 men quickly approaching the door. Once I got to do the door, there was a third male who was also an employee. Since the door was locked (because the store was at closing,) he had to unlock the door to let me out. The men surrounded me and one of the men who identified himself as Mark - head of security, asked to see my receipt. Now I thought this was strange since I had just walked away from the cashier who scanned, accepted payment for and bagged all of my items. I told him "no" and asked why he needed to see my receipt. Mark said "because I asked for it." I explained that it was not lawful for him to demand my receipt with no valid reason. California Penal Code 490.5 states: "(f)(1) A merchant may detain a person for a reasonable time for the purpose of conducting an investigation in a reasonable manner whenever the merchant has probable cause to believe the person to be detained is attempting to unlawfully take or has unlawfully taken merchandise from the merchants premises." -In short, a person would not have to stop or be detained unless that probable cause was present. Mark said he was the head of security and that he could do it if he wanted to and that I could not leave until I showed it. At this point I felt like I was being illegally detained and racially profiled, as I am an African American woman and was by myself, and because there was no valid reason for this behavior. Previous to this "Mark" was walking around yelling at people to not enter any aisles and to go to the register. I moved past him because I needed Tylenol. I found it and showed it to him on my way to the register to pay for my items. He made it his mission to meet me at the door after I paid for my items. I noticed that they were not doing this to everyone who was leaving the store, so I was, and still am confused as to why they singled me out. I have shopped at Walmart for many years and I know that the person at the door will ask to see a receipt if someone is leaving the store with un-bagged items, but not only were my items bagged, but they were bagged by the cashier. In addition to this, they NEVER asked to see my bag, nor did they look in it! If there was some suspicion of me illegally obtaining some items, I would think they would check my bag and not just look at my receipt. I am a well educated woman with an extensive knowledge of the law. I have NEVER stolen anything in my life and I was offended and very afraid of the intention of these men. One was very large and Mark looked like he may have previously been on drugs. I contemplated calling the West Sacramento police, but due to the urgent nature of my circumstances, I resolved to showing my receipts. They looked at my receipts and once again, never looked in or asked for my bags, and then opened the door to let me out but not before the very large man stated "you could've just given him your receipts." So even after they saw that there was absolutely NO REASON for their actions, they still weren't apologetic.

Please do not use the CoinStar machine. I printed out the receipt and suppose to get a $10 gift card from Starbucks. The receipt says the account number was faded so I couldn't redeem it. I lost $10! Never use that machine again!

If I could give zero stars I would. I try to avoid this place like the plague but every now and then I venture here to get something I can't find somewhere else. Then I remember why I don't shop here. Rude employees, dirty parking lot, broken shopping carts, and cops are always there because of the high theft rate. Not to mention giving more money to the rich corporation that doesn't pay their employees a living wage. No wonder they are always so pissed off when you go in there. Please pay your employees better and provide better customer service training!

Wayne in Electronics sold me a TV today and went above and beyond. Witt customer service challenges, it was awesome to be treated so well especially "at Walmart". I hope that he gets some recognition. I even tried to "tip" him because everyone has tip jars and he said he couldn't take it. Well done, Wayne in electronics of West Sacramento Walmart. You are awesome

Many employees in the store but only one cashier working. It's busy. Many had full grocery carts. There's no more 20 items or less checkout stand. They've remodeled the store so most items are not where they were. What gives Walmart?

I like this Walmart but the security is very disrespectful. Me and my son come in alot because they have what we need and like. There's this security guard that follows us around the store Everytime like we're trying to steal. We are not thieves. It is very annoying. I've asked him to stop and also complained to a leader. He still does it. So we try not to come in the store. I hope they fix this because there gonna lose a lot of customers. He needs to worry about all the activity going on outside. So if you like this Walmart and you walk around. Check to see if you are being followed. Annoyed

When I called inquiring about a home and garden 8x10 rug in the gray wavy lines style, first the employee said they didn't understand me. I speak perfect English with no accent. I asked her again because I didn't understand her thick Indian accent. She said, I'm going to put you on hold. She never returned with any answer. I waited and waited understanding it takes time to look up. I don't think she understood me either way. What a waste of time. I've shopped there many times. I'm not biased in any shape or form. But East Indians have to be the most unhelpful people I've ever dealt with. On hold for 20 minutes is very frustrating. I then called and spoke with the most helpful person I've dealt with recently. Her name was Flo. She even called a few Walmart stores to try to find what I asked for. She works at Truxel rd. Walmart. She was very pleasant and deserves a raise. She actually went above and beyond her grade pay. Definitely a very good employee. Kudos to FLO. I APPRECIATE HER VERY MUCH 5 STARS FOR FLO FROM TRUXEL RD WALMART. 0 stars for West sac superstore I gave 1 star for West Sacramento super store. If they had 0 stars I'd choose it.

I came in here for some cinnamon to make my famous cinnamon milk. I was going to a gathering and needed to get a few bottles of cinnamon because everyone goes cray over my cinnamon milk. At least 3 people texted me, and they were like, "yooooo! Cinnamon milk?!?" and "ayyyyyy! Dat cinna-milk! Woop-woooop!" and "ay family! Looking forward to seeing you and the other Juggalos at the spot. I got all the makeup, so text me before you go in. BTW, I hope you are making that cinnamon milk. Ok. Woop-wooop!" This Walmart has everything laid out so finding things is easy: I do think it's weird that they put Gatorade next to the Powerade, though. They do totally different things! Walmart also has great prices. The cinnamon I bought to make cinnamon milk with was an exceptional deal. I don't remember the price, but I especially appreciate the self-checkout here. You're probably wondering what cinnamon milk is by now, and I am happy to share my previously secret recipe with you. Cinnamon milk: 1 qt. Milk , 1 bottle cinnamon. Mix well. The secret ingredient is extra cinnamon and love. Not everyone can handle my cinnamon milk, though. Only real Juggalos. Thanks again Walmart. You guys are family. Woop-Wooop!

I have been going to this store for 4 years. I knew where everything was and I could get in and out quickly. BUT...just in time for Christmas, some very intelligent paper pusher rearranged the entire store. I mean, I could not find a thing. The Walmart app was useless. It was sending me to an aisle that no longer existed. All I wanted was printer paper. When I found where the paper was, there was literally four (4) reams of paper in the store. I took my paper and proceeded down the newly designed aisle. A store associate was stocking shelves and was using a shopping cart. The new aisle was SOOOO narrow that I could not get by. I went to another location where the item I wanted was under lock and key. I pushed the button to call someone to unlock for me. The red light did not go on. Was my call registering? I had no way to know. Was someone coming? How long would I have to wait? No way for me to know. I flagged down one of two store associates in the area and asked if they could send someone with a key? Her response? Push the button. I explained that the red light was not coming on and how could I know if my call was received by anyone? She said she would get someone as soon as she finished what she was doing. After I got tired of waiting, I said "Forget it. I'll order it off Amazon" and she was like, "Okay."

This Walmart location unfortunately it's just like every other Walmart locations. Completely terrible and unprofessional staff. I do not even understand why they give some of the managers the yellow vest. You would think that if they had the yellow vest on and they were considered a manager they would have a lot more customer service skills than they actually do. I hate every time I have to go into a Walmart because I know the store is going to be too crowded. The lines are going to be too long. And that the staff is going to be too running form. All of those things are true for this location as well. It is so sad to know Walmart makes so much money every sport year but yet they cannot afford to attic deal with people and customers. We are spending our hard-earned money at this location and the least they could do is treat us with respect and act like they value our business. But unfortunately they do not business either. The only good thing about this location is I love buying their cream

Management here is going to run this location into the ground. I came in for my appointment and the lady at the front desk told me to drive around to one of the bays and wait. She then continued playing on her phone. There weren't any customers waiting and the mechanic, 'Nick' (That's the name I was given by the auto manager Aaron, not sure if I believe him or not) didn't appear to be doing anything just pacing back and forth and occasionally looking up at me. He finally came over after about 15 minutes and I told him I had an appointment. He told me that I needed to go back inside. When I went back inside, the same lady I had initially spoken with was still doing nothing other than sitting down and playing on her phone. After Aaron arrived and I complained, an hour and 15 minutes after my appointment and with no customers, they finally began working on my vehicle. They seem to have the absolute LAZIEST people working in their auto department, and I won't be coming back to Walmart for my auto needs or any other purchase.

Ah, good ole Walmart. One of the very best retailers, a massive nationwide company with such a big selection of so many items imaginable. Parking is easy, service is good, low prices to help you live better, and the benefits keep on going. One of the best things about this being a supercenter is it has food items that you cant find in non-supercenter Walmarts! They need to do something fast about the amount of flies I saw at the bakery area though.
