Stopped by today to open account Díante was extremely helpful kind and was able to attend to every need he set me up with Savanna and she opened an account for me and my husband no problem she also was very kind and had a lot of peace I recommend this golden one fast service and kind employees

I needed to replace my debit card because someone tried to use it over the weekend to buy a hugely expensive concert ticket (or something). Luckily, the purchase was declined. Anyhow, after I spoke to a CSR on the phone on Saturday, I drove to the Golden 1 branch on Monday morning. I arrived just after it opened, was seen by a teller almost right away, and had my card replaced immediately. It took all of half an hour, including drive time to and from my home. Much better than waiting two weeks for the card to arrive in the mail!

We went in to this branch. I had to close my account because of fraud and needed to open new one and transfer all our info. ALL Golden 1's have a walk in Q the QR code and wait in Que. The assistant branch manager (a young man with last name starting with S) stopped us from using the QR and said he could help us. BUT instead he said we could NOT get in que but we have to have an appointment. Which wasn't until the next day. HE JUST DIDN'T WANT TO HELP. We went to the one on Arena Blvd. And used the QR code and was helped in a half hour. They were fuller then the west sac branch. I will give Arena 5 stars and west sac 0. Especially the assistant branch manager. I canceled my appointment because I didn't need it anymore! BAD AND LAZY WORKER. Just because I am old doesn't mean I am dumb. 20 years I have been a customer

Both ATMs never work. I always waste my gas my time my effort coming to this place they even upgraded to some new ATMs and they’re just as bad as their old ones this place is a joke they don’t know what they’re doing. I’m not sure why they’re even there.

I don't care for this particular location for a host of different reasons, but with that being said the young AA security guard is really the only good thing about this location. He is always so pleasant and welcoming. I absolutely love it. Golden 1 knew what they were doing when they hired him lol. And lets not even talk about that smile... My goodness. I just might open up an account at this location again, and deal with the no so great customer service just to see his smiling face lol.

So disappointing. I have been apart of golden1 for about 15years and never had an issue until now. My issue isn't with the people working at this branch, but the ATM. I deposited $1300 at this locations ATM back in October. The machine did not give me a receipt, but didn't think anything of it as I've deposited money before without getting a receipt. I checked my statements, and my money wasn't in there. I called their corporate number they put the money back into my account, only to take it out within a couple weeks. When I emailed them, and brought this to their attention again, they told me "We have determined that no error has occurred, and we have no rights to continue on your behalf. If you are able to provide new information, you may request a reevaluation of your dispute." I had brought to their attention that if their security cameras work, which I would hope they do, they would be able to see me around 4:25/30pm Sunday October 2nd with my husband standing guard. So here we are in December and now I'm being told that there was no air, so Golden 1 just stole $1300 from me. I understand there is a lot of fraud going on, but if they look at my history with them, they should see that I have always been an outstanding customer. I also find it odd that when somebody complains about the amount of money or any amount of money missing from their account, that they wouldn't go back and do an audit of that day. I have not had a chance to go into this branch and speak to the manager, nor will I have a chance until after Christmas. But I really hope they aren't doing this to other people. I am just about getting ready to speak to a lawyer about this one.

No matter what time or day I go to the G-1 bank, everyone always has a smile and makes friendly conversation. I also appreciate the eye to eye contact when chatting with any of the tellers. The atmosphere at this location has always been calm, quiet and pleasant.

These guys are so amazing I cannot say enough nice things about them. Especially Carlos he was so patient and helpful and even remembered me when I would come in! If I could give 10 stars I would this is the only golden one I’ll be going to from now on, I know for a fact that my situation was annoying but they never acted like it and had so much empathy for me and made sure it was all quick and painless as possible

I've been reading all the reviews as I was considering visiting this branch today , but wanted to ensure the bank has improved its customer service. But sadly, it hasn't. I experienced bad customer service when it first opened and decided to never go back . Went and opened an account with safe credit Union. My question to golden one social media representative who continue to apologize yet I do not see a corrective action. Why do you continue to employ such bad attitude, lack of customer employees. They represent the company and it really shows what golden one has to offer. How about replacing staff and management. Clearly, the bad reviews come from a pattern of poor and bad customer service. Do better Golden One Credit Union. For folks who are looking to for an account at a credit union. Try SAFE or Schools.

Horrible service. THIS LOCATION JUDGES!!!! They judge you by what you look the second you walk in. I HAD A TELLER WITH TATTOOS ON HER FINGERS give me a hard time. I mention this because I didn't get her name. I've come to this bank a number of times to deposit my checks. Every time I come in they have a problem with my deposit. They can only allow this much, they need to review the check because of the amount. I've busted my a** off at work to earn my check amount and when I went in today, apparently they've never seen me cash that much so they can only allow me $250. You have to be out of your f****** mind to think you can determine how much money I get to use after I worked my a** off. Don't come here if you want good respectable service and ESPECIALLY if your of color you will be judged!!!!

Went in today to cash a check for a elder women I am helping out so I could go buy items for her. She is a member there so I knew they would cash her check and I could go into Walmart across the way. I was treated as a criminal from the start since I myself am not a member there. They had to verify the $400.00 check and it took almost 30 mins then he casually asked me how I would like the $390.00 back without explanation of any fees that there may have been. If I knew there was a fee for a golden one check to be cashed at golden one then I never would of wasted my time going in. Why do you charge member checks a fee seems like a scam. Rude employees and so slow. No apology for the banks bad communication and bad customer service. Will not use this bank ever again

Really bad customer service, usually very nice. Went in on a slow day, no one else around. People sitting in empty offices not doing anything or helping anyone as I was the only person in the place and they can't help me out. Hello I've been banking with you for years can I get a little help as you have control of my money. Doesn't make me feel very confident:(
