I have a Lexus RX350, and the engine light came on with the VSC light blinking. I called the shop, and they told me to bring it in for a diagnostic. After the diagnostic, they would inform me of the issue and the cost. If I decided to proceed with the repair, they would discount the diagnostic fee. I didn't want to risk driving the vehicle, so I had AAA tow it to the shop. After the diagnostic, they found that the ignitor coil #6 had misfired. Fortunately, it was located on the front side of the engine, so they ordered the part, picked it up, and replaced it within 30 minutes. The service was fast, affordable, and reliable.

DONT GO HERE!! (Scammers) Cheap prices for a reason!
Here’s how my experience went. I went in for a smog test and light and brake inspection (safety inspection). Total was gonna be $170 for both inspections. I failed the smog test bc I installed an aftermarket air intake and didn’t put the State ref sticker on. That’s my own fault and I understand why I failed. They did mention they do free retesting which is great!
Here’s where it gets a little suspicious. When it came to the light & brake inspection I failed because my brake rotors were “bad” and needed to be replaced. The shop owner quoted me $700 to replace all the brake pads and rotors. I knew something was up and decided to get a second opinion. Went to West Sacramento Smog-Brake and Light Inspections and passed instantly. Don’t go here and save yourself some time and check out the place on 1922 W Capitol Ave, West Sacramento, CA 95691.
Only positive’s was the customer service from the employees(not the shop owner) and the retest that they offer.

I brought my f150 to get smogged and it was done it about 5 minutes. The guy working was really friendly and he was the lowest priced I found in west sac. Will definitely be back in the future.
