I regret that I didnt get the nice gentleman's name who helped me. He walked me over to where the items were that I was looking for and remained with me and answered the many questions I had about the different products available. He was great!Rather tall guy

You can't take your carts outside anymore?? This is so dumb, I bought 160 lbs of cat litter and I'm supposed to carry it all out to my car one by one? The store is otherwise fine and employees have always been nice, but this is just dumb. I'm young and in shape, but what about older people wanting to buy a couple big bags of food or litter? Come on...

Don't take your pets here at all!!! I have been taking my puppy for grooming at other locations and they been beyond the best!! This week I took my puppy of 3 months on Friday morning 11/03/23 for grooming and he was walking and running perfectly fine. After 30 min of being there I get a phone call from a staff saying to pick my puppy because he was injured and they couldn't do the services at all. How does that happen when my puppy was perfectly fine. Sadly now my puppy has been limping since I got him. This Petco and staff don't care for your pets at all if you want a good service just stay away from this place and go somewhere else.

They sent me like 4 reminder texts for my dogs grooming appointment in which they didn't say anything about a 10min grace period. I called them 5 min before the appointment to try and let them know we were running late but no one answered the phones. I get there 15 min late and they said they wouldn't do the service for anyone 10min late. Which makes no sense when their grooming service supposedly takes 2-4 hrs. How are you too busy to answer the phone when you should have been servicing our appointment that we were late to? And then when my boyfriend walks back in after we leave and he said they were talking bad about me because i complained that they don't answer their phones. Real immature and unprofessional. Had they answered the phone, i wouldn't have wasted my time getting my dog in the car. Dont go here if you are expecting good customer service. Or any service at that.Update: thanks for the meaningless generic response you give every bad review, petco.

Went into the store to get goldfish ( the small .29 ones) and I was also purchasing a small tank to put them in. When I asked for assistance to get goldfish, she asked if I was planning to put them in the tank, I said yes and she told me she couldn't sell them to me. I looked at her in shock and she said because she needs to know it was going to a proper tank. I was like, for the small gold fish? She said yes because they get big. I was in disbelief. I don't know if she was thinking of another fish or the bigger goldfishes like koi fishes but for the feeder ones? I was very disappointed. I'm sure we were on different pages but she had a very negative vibe. We decided to go to another store to purchase.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR GROOMING. I'm leaving this review because of the horrible experience I had on a Saturday afternoon. I have a 7 month old short haired pup that I brought in for her first bath and haircut. When I got there I waited at the counter for 5 minutes or so, a dog barking so loud and continuously in the back. My dog got antsy hearing all of that commotion. The "pet stylist" came out and asked a few questions, after she found out it was my dog's first visit, she immediately refused to groom her. She suggested bringing out the clippers to put it near her to see how she reacts to the sound. OF COURSE my dog moved away from her. Hello, who is this stranger I've never seen putting some weird sounding machine next to my face? She then suggested referring my dog to a vet to get sedated for grooming because she was too anxious. By this point the pet stylist is making me anxious with all of these outrageous suggestions and trying to teach me about trauma and desensitizing animals. Petco, if you're going to have employees refuse providing services that your customers planned and signed up for WITHOUT EVEN TRYING, you need to add that in your fine print. My dog is not aggressive nor abnormally anxious. Per the stylist, she did great with the nail buffing process which is also a tool that makes noise. So why didn't you even try to do the haircut? She suggested after 3-4 baths with them she can get a haircut. NAH SIS, I'm not trying to be a returning customer. Also, nice try trying to charge me more for the wrong services. Make sure you read your grooming receipts folks. It looked like that dog stylist was working by herself so I'm not sure if she was over it and didn't want to do her job anymore. There's a first time for everything and I'm glad my pup's first time was not with this person from Petco. I found a mom and pop shop for grooming to go to instead where they take the time and are committed to your dog's care and needs.

Well kept store nice and clean easy to find products. Only complaint; Would be nice if they didn’t switch up the food aisles. Makes it kinda difficult to relocate the food normally purchased.
