One of the best banks in yolo County! Not alot of ATM, but I use other credit union ATM such as Golden 1 with no fees or charges and get free checking with direct deposit!!

I live in the local area, keep all my financial accounts in good order and have excellent credit. I have been a member of a number of different credit unions over the years. I am not a member here, but I tried to use my debit card at their ATM. There was no financial reason that the card should not work. The machine confiscated my card for an unknown reason. I talked to a woman on duty in the branch, and she was unhelpful and had a poor customer attitude. She did not try to retrieve my card and did not do any research on why the card was confiscated by the machine. Basically, she was too lazy to provide any service. If I could have fired her, I would have. Considering the card was issued by another credit union and Yolo FCU had no ownership in it, they had no excuse to confiscate the card without explanation or reason. They could have had a new customer when I needed a new credit union or a car loan. But, based on their staff, I will take my business to another credit union. This was the about the worst customer service I have seen at a credit union. Credit unions are about serving people: not about taking others' property and not providing a justification. I'm not interested in their legal jargon about their rights and my obligations. And, the credit union movement is not about that anyway.

TL;DR is I don't know about banking here, but this is hands-down the best place to get a hassle-free and honest car loan, with professional, kind, and helpful staff - a real hidden gem! I've been a borrower with them for 5 years, for 2 different new car loans now. You won't find better rates or better customer service.Long Version:Full disclosure I don't bank here, but I have gone through them for 2 different car loans and they consistently have the best rates and customer service. Absolutely perfect for my needs, couldn't ask for better. Not gimmicky like other credit unions and lenders in the Sacramento area. You have to work in Yolo County, or live there, to be a customer but if you move or change jobs you are grandfathered in. I'm so glad because I was able to take out another loan from them for a new car, even though I switched from working in Yolo to working and living in Sac.Aubrey the branch manager here is absolutely amazing. I came in as a walk-in to inquire about a new loan and instead of having to schedule an appt for another day with the front desk, she overheard and volunteered to squeeze me in. My previous car I had a loan for with them was totaled by a hit/run DUI driver, so I was having to go back and forth between insurance, YFCU, and the dealership like a mad woman for a few days trying to get a replacement vehicle. Aubrey was either always available or got back to me promptly. She definitely made me feel like she went above and beyond to help me out, and I'm so thankful to have such an accountable and trustworthy lender. (Aubrey if you're reading this, thank you again for all your help!)I do agree with technical issues as mentioned by others, but I notice they have made some improvements to their website and it was a much better user interface last month than it was years ago when I first became a customer. But also, as mentioned, their walk-in service and availability by phone or email are amazing, and I'm able to take care of everything I need to that way so it makes up for it.If you're just car-loan shopping, and work or live in Yolo County, they are definitely worth shopping at. You can't beat them. So glad I found them!

Constantly having technology issues. One day you can't access your online banking the next you drive all the way to their location to pull out money and they can't give you any of your own money. Didn't do a single thing about it accept say "sorry". Absolutely unbelievable. Go bank with someone else!Update a week later: online banking is down yet again. Can't see my account and it's over an hour to speak to someone. Don't understand how this is acceptable?!

I've only been here for the ATM. I like this convenient location and there never is a line at the atm. They cool thing about this machine is that you have the option to choose $20 or $50 denominations. I know a lot of places do this now but this was one of the first places I noticed it. This isn't my bank, but I always use the atm to get cash or deposit.

I want to preface this by saying that I have worked in customer service for many years and I hate leaving bad reviews about businesses because I understand that things happen and mistakes are made. But after saying this I can honestly say DO NOT REFINANCE YOUR AUTO LOAN HERE!!! I have had the absolute worst experience trying to refinance my auto loan here. I applied to refinance my auto loan here in May 2021. It is now July 2021 and I now have an auto loan open here and one open under my old bank BECAUSE THEY NEVER SENT THE CHECK to close my old auto loan! Christian Saucedo, the banker in charge of my auto loan, kept reassuring me that he would contact my old bank to resolve this issue and he never did. Well it's been 2 months so I called my old bank's auto loan division and they said they never received a check from Yolo Federal Credit Union and not only that, there was never any evidence of them having sent a check or contacting my bank. This has been a nightmare trying to navigate emails that get late responses and calling the bank only to be told sorry that person is on lunch and they can't take your call right now. Well now I have two auto loans so I guess this is not an uncommon problem for them since there is a total lack any urgency to fix this on their end.

We really love this bank and we’ve been using since 2011. I got problem with one of the lady. Her name is Perti. I don’t know what wrong with she. I’m Asian and she is also Asian too. Every time I go there, she looks me down. All of others are super nice than other banks. I live in Folsom but I go there almost every day because all of them are really nice and friendly except her.

I only got an auto loan so I only deal with the website which finds it not so design well and looks antiquated. It also hard to navigate using my phone where supposely button does not show up. well I am not using their apps only chrome. The main thing is they offer lower interest rate for my auto compare to my regular CU since I was lazy to drive bank 20miles away last minutes to retrieve a loan. But I am not so sure if I am saving, and of course customer service over the phone is lacking so expect a long wait.
