“This is THE BEST supermarket. Its got way more choices than costco and no membership fee! They have parallel products to all your favorites at Trader Joes. I get 50 pounds of *fresh* onions for $11 and give them to my friends! Products that I used to get on amazon for $12 is $3.75 here. Sweet staff too. I never shop anywhere else.”
“The team at my neighborhood Aldi is nothing short of AMAZING. Their helpfulness and warm personalities keep me coming back time and time again. Manager Eric is incredibly sweet and always goes above and beyond to help.
There’s also a cashier—I wish I remembered his name—who is not only efficient, but absolutely hilarious and, most importantly, kind. Every time my mother visits from New Jersey, he remembers her and even brings up something from her last trip. That kind of attention to detail and genuine care is so rare.
The folks at this Aldi create such a nostalgic, heartwarming sense of community.”

“A terrific Ralphs location. Fresh stock, very clean and bright, and great selection. Didn't have to settle for so-so produce. A list quality fruits and veggies.”
“I'm an Asian dude with Mexican as my fave food. I drive really far to come here. This supermarket has better meats, and way more variety, than my local Ralphs, Vons, etc. The tortillas made here are better than tortillas from anywhere else that I know of! 😋 Also, everyone is so friendly, the butchers, checkout, and the people behind the little restaurant on the right.”
“Had a great checkout experience at Thousand Oaks Walmart! I didn't catch her name, but Cashier 000331 was a total rockstar. Even though the store was very busy, she was efficient, accurate, and kept a positive attitude. The store is lucky to have her.

“Costco food court - a meal choice as timeless as hot dogs themselves.
This place is magnificent; Costco has contraptions to make perfectly portioned pizzas and a conveyor oven to bake it immaculately. And yet, at this location I’ve never had 2 slices that were done quite right. The rush you can only get from gambling keeps me coming back in hopes of acquiring the jackpot slice!
And hot dog lovers - get ready to bounce back and forth between condiment dispensers because I’ve never seen them fully stocked. It’s really a fun game of search and find.
They maintain character by assuring that either ice or Diet Coke is always empty on at least one soda machine. The guessing game is half of the fun!
And standing in line - well, they don’t really have a line system and it’s a free-for-all with post-cash register shopping carts and children and the ordering kiosks all crammed together like a busy roundabout with no lanes. Seeing the panic in people’s faces when someone accidentally cuts the line is what life is all about.
Be careful asking for anything extra at the window - these employees are determined to get to the next person in line before you have your food, and the rush of being shooed away and boxed out is reminiscent of New York City, or maybe a third world country. It’s like a mini vacation coming here!
And because it’s Calabasas, you can enjoy your meal while you watch wealthy, above-average and even good-looking people walk by instead of the usual cattle piling out of other locations.
Best of all, because of the tire center the Costco food court is technically a Michelin-adjacent restaurant.
