“I like the low price the have, cheaper than COSTCO for a lot of them. On the downside, not a lot of selections. Item you buy may not be there next time. Time at the register has improved since they added the self checkout. Still don't like to have to look for a quarter to get a cart in this day and age where I almost never use cash.”

“I always shop here for my fresh fruits and vegetables. They have good quality produce. On, March 6, the cashier told me that the item I had was not on sale, so I asked to make an exchange on a sale item. The cashier very willing did it and she got out of her chair to take the item back and brought back the correct item. Kudos to this gal for going out of her way for the customer. This is the type of employees we need in our communities. Too bad I didn't get her name.”
“The shelves are neat and the display of products is not cluttered. Taiwanese snack festivals are occasionally held. When you miss Taiwanese food, you should be able to find something good to satisfy your cravings. It’s just that the price isn’t too pretty. This time I bought Taiwanese beer, but the price didn’t match the label on the shelf.”

“Smells so good the second you walk inside the store. Lots of asian bananas and cherimoya on display. Just make sure not to press on them unless you want to buy that exact item! Not much displayed if you come later in the day tho (at least during my latest visit). They also have jackfruit and durian, fresh and peeled and ready to eat. May not be displayed but you can ask the lady in the back. She's nice and don't bother you when you're just browsing. Location is next to Shin Sen Gumi.”
“16pc chicken great buy at $14.99. It looks dry, but it's not. It's tender and juicy. I also bought chicken wings. The price was fair. The wings were tasty and meaty. They weren't messy like other wings. They're deep fried. Carlos took my preorder of chicken and did a great job. They were low on wings and he fried me a new batch of 2 pounds. I definitely will be ordering more chicken from them.”
“really had a great first time here and got everything i needed. I had trouble finding doubanjiang that i needed for a recipe. I had it written on my phone. I asked 2 employees for help. they both immediately brushed me off about “no english” before even looking at what i was after. I spent a lot of time looking for it independently. Later an older white woman asked one of the same employees for help and he decided to help her. It put a bad taste in my mouth but the store selection is great”

“On Easter Sunday on our way to Alhambra Park and everyone forgot the meat!!! Found this little gem on yelp stopped by and man, I was impressed!! Don't let the size of this market fool you. Clean, and super well stocked. As we walked in the cashier was super friendly. The meat department was clean and organized. I asked what was the best meat to grill and I was immediately referred to the seasoned ranchera meat. bought a few LBS and headed to the park. Upon cooking the meat it was soft, and flavorful! I would have preferred a more think cut but over all delish! I found a new spot!!! ;)”
“My favorite neighborhood market here in North Long Beach. I literally shop here at least 2-3 times a week, everyone working here are very kind and super helpful with anything you're looking for. Their produce, and meat department are all fresh, they have an abundance of ingredients on their shelves, anything you need I'm sure you'll find, I'm happy to support my local Cambodian market!”
“This is my go-to store when I need multiple random things. No reason to go to the big box store EVERYtime I need something. I like that, it's convenient and usually in and out as fast as I get what I'm looking for. Usually any line moves fast. Good verity of alcoholic drinks, even wine. Don't forget to swing by the frozen food section, only because it's next to the ice-cream. Omg the ice-cream. You're going to find something you love, summer is here ! “Not bad take Baldwin park exit from 10 and you are good to go from there with google maps.Make u turn at the end of street park on street check in first come first serve very tight docks GOAL little hard to back up with 53 feet parked on side doors but it’s doable. 5 pallets and I was done in 1.5hrs.”

“Shun Fat Supermarket is a great supermarket for a variety of Asian items. Besides getting live fish and veggies, they also have lots of instant noodle options. Vifon is a brand that has so many options of noodles. This time I tried their pho which came in a bowl or square packet. The bowl was convinient and authentic. I made a chicken pho ramen which was filling. It is a great price! The supermarket is clean with lots of items to get.”

The things to improve in my personal opinion would be: the prices of the products are a little higher, and the variety of fresh seafood is smaller compared to other Asian supermarkets. Otherwise, I really liked this supermarket.

This location is clean, well-organized, and packed with a wide variety of Asian groceries — from daily essentials to more unique items you don’t often see elsewhere. I was surprised to find less common fruits like rambutan, longan, dragon fruit, and even Vietnamese elephant green mango (priced a bit high, but rare to find!).
The store layout is smart — with small specialty shops around the perimeter of the main market, and even a row of claw machines (“Kiddleton”) for kids. If you’re shopping with children and feeling lucky, you might want to bring a few dollar bills for a quick play.
Perfect for a quick grocery trip with the wife — in, out, and full of good finds. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!”

You can't get everything you need here. Definitely not a one stop shop. But I come here for some great deals on some of my select items. Downfall for me is need to rent a cart. So I bring my own bags and shop with those as I peruse the store.”
