The Whole Child is a 60-year-old nonprofit organization providing mental health, housing, parent enrichment and nutrition services to under served families in Southeastern Los Angeles County. Our mission is to help at-risk families raise emotionally and physically health children and have a place to call home. We envision a world that values the individual needs of each child and their family. A world that secures access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive and live a happy life.

I have supported the work of The Whole Child for nearly 5 years. My organization has provided hygiene backpacks to their clients prior to Covid-19. Personally, I have found Vanessa Sedano to be a very compassionate and caring person and "agent for change" for those seeking homeless services.
