“I began shopping at Willits Coast Hardware after family members moved to Willits in the early 80's. Moved here permanently in 1997 and It's my go to ever since. It's tucked away next to the Willits Safeway and for me is always the perfect place to stop first when trying to get some gift giving or home repair situation taken care of. They are very popular with everyone who knows about this secret gem because they are so helpful and wonderful... Always.”

“Mendo Mill offers the sort of customer service you hear about in stories old people tell: friendly, knowledgeable, and really happy to help. When I ask for help, it feels like a good friend is helping me find something or solve a problem. We needed a 100 amp fuse for our 70 year old house, and they ordered some in! They were out of the size of cheap, nickel plated steel washers I needed (they almost never are out of anything), and offered to sell me stainless steel ones at a steep discount. I am amazed, sometimes, at the variety of stuff they have in stock. I have to admit I love hardware stores, but especially this one.”

“Great place to rent equipment that I don't use enough to buy for myself. They get you in and out quick, they're friendly and helpful. Plus they have lots of cool stuff for sale too.”
