Anchor Pointe Inn is an affordable and budget-conscious hotel, often described as a great price for the value. The rooms are consistently noted as clean and cozy, though they are also incredibly small. The decor has a modern, charming, and nostalgic feel with a comfortable sitting area. Amenities include rooms with a fridge, real keys, delicious hot coffee, a microwave, and Pür filtered water. Its location is great for the docking terminals and a convenience store is a short walk away, though the neighborhood itself feels sketchy to some, with a locked parking lot at night for safety. The owners and staff are consistently highlighted as the inn's greatest asset. They are amazing, very nice, friendly, helpful, and welcoming hosts who genuinely care for guests' comfort. The experience is one of genuine hospitality. Overall, for travelers seeking a cheap, friendly, and clean place to stay before a cruise or other plans, Anchor Pointe Inn is a considered option, provided expectations are managed regarding room size and the shared bathroom situation in some rooms. Many guests state they would stay again.
We stayed here for 5 days and had a blast! The family who runs this hotel provided excellent customer service and made our stay wonderful. It’s cute, quaint, and has a hostel vibe which we really enjoyed. I recommend staying here when in the LA/Long Beach area.

The rooms were clean and the price was very affordable. If you’re looking for a place to stay before your next cruise, I would definitely recommend... read full comment
