“Ok yall, Griselda (I think I spelled her name wrong, sorry if I did) was the best. Her hospitality and kindness is unmatched. I believe I spoke to her when I called in and asked for joining rooms if at all possible. She told me they were completely booked but she will see what she can do. Baby she made a miracle happen. It was my sister’s wedding and her precious hotel cancelled due to over booking. We had 5 rooms and she managed to get my sister and my room connected. Now back to the hospitality, upon arriving walking in it smells like they’ve been cleaning and it’s around 630pm-7pm at night. Most hotels still smell like they’ve outside at that time. She was so entertaining and energetic and seems like she actually enjoyed her job. Where as many of those in hospitality don’t. Her conversation was genuine and she act like she’s known me forever. I just love it. I will definitely be coming back again. But only if she’s on shift because she definitely made a stressful situation worth going through..
oh I forgot to mention the rooms. They were clean and smelled good. Don’t let ChatGPT lie to you all.

“Don't stay here expecting modern amenities. Do stay here if you want a glimpse of the past. We stayed in one of the Family Suites with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable, but walls are thin. You will definitely hear your neighbors so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Exploring the ship was amazing. By staying at the hotel on the ship you can basically explore 24 hours a day if you're so inclined. My only negative is that vegetarian/vegan food choices among the various dining options are very limited.”

“My daughter found this hotel for me knowing my taste as I prefer boutique and Vintage styles. I needed one night rest before flying home to Australia after a long 10 days of cleaning and packing up my Mums estate.
I was delighted to arrive at such a gracious and welcoming reception. I had spent 8 weeks in Europe last year. The moment I came through the doors memories of my time at beautiful old homes and hotels in France, Spain and Italy came back to me. I gasped in surprise.
The entire hotel is like a dream come true! My room off the courtyard was absolutely beautiful. I decided not to leave and just hang out resting in my grand giant bed with the french doors open to the courtyard.
My cousins picked me up for dinner. They came in and couldnt believe the grandure. They said they lived their entire lives here driving past and had no idea what was inside!
My stay was very relaxing and extremely comfortable. The staff are very helpful.
I would recommend this hotel as one of my top places I have been. The standard is very high. If I ever come back to Los Angeles I will stay again.”

“Honestly, this is the standard by which all motels should be judged. I chose a room here when the World Cup made all lodging outrageous, and this was a very good experience for the rate I paid. The room was very big, very clean, and surprisingly modern. How often do you find a ceiling fan AND a mini split air conditioner in a hotel room? This was a first for me, but it made everything so comfortable. Parking was a breeze, and the location is easy enough if you wanna get into Los Angeles or Long Beach. San Pedro, itself, has some nice cafes.”

“What a gem! I stayed for 4 nights and was so happy I chose to stay here over a faceless hotel chain. The location is fantastic, just about a 10 minute walk from the beach. The house is lovely, with antique furniture, historic photos of Long Beach, and just an overall cozy vibe. If you're charmed by historic homes, this is your place.
My room was comfortable, very clean, and had all that I needed for a pleasant stay - including an adorable little iron and ironing board! Staying on the south side of the building, there was a little bit of street noise from Broadway, but I put in some earplugs and slept perfectly fine. I had a key code for the front door and my room, which takes away the worry of losing a key or key card.
As a big morning breakfast person, I was so happy to start each day with Pat's home cooked breakfast. The spread always included a small dish of cut fruit (not just melons!), toast, a savory entree, tea, coffee, juice, and cereal. Best of all, Pat was so nice to talk to!

“We had an amazing experience staying with my family at this motel for a night. They take great pride in their establishment, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The room was spotless, which was a huge plus. Considering the affordable price, it was an excellent value for money. The location near the beach was also a huge plus. We wish we had stayed longer, but unfortunately, we had to travel to another city and ended up in a much worse place. Overall, I highly recommend this motel. It’s a 10/10!”

Bed was okay but a little uncomfortable. Walls are a bit thin. I could hear the neighbors argue at 4 am. Nice tv with great cable service. Very convenient location for sure.”

“You can’t get a better location. I stay here every time I need to be on the south side of LA. The rooms are spacious. The patio is perfect. The restaurant is always delicious. And what really makes this hotel special is the service. The last time I was there, I had some high maintenance requests. The manager was able to accommodate me without batting an eye.”
