“JUNIOR OF H & M AUTO BODY SAVED MY CAR'S LIFE!!! ! I don't write a lot of reviews unless someone does something spectacular and Junior sure did!!! My husband's 2012 Toyota Camry was near death with severe body damage (rust stains, pits and corrosion) and horrible mold and stains on the interior due to being left in the rain with cracked windows. The car was so disgusting we were just going to do a quick fix up and sell it. We first took the car to an upholstery shop to clean the mold out but they reinstalled the seats wrong and the seat belt light kept blinking and the air bag signal was flashing. After picking up the car from the upholstery shop we brought it directly to Junior of H & M. This is our family's auto body shop since the 1990s when we worked with Junior's father, beloved Mario. Mario was not only a kind and honest man but he was also a wizard with cars and fixed our cars to perfection. We knew Junior was our best hope to save this car. He greeted us warmly and friendly as always and knew what to do in minutes. He produced an estimate that was very reasonable while recommending some excellent cost saving ideas. For example, we asked for new seat belts due to rusting and he said he could buff the rust out. Even though H & M is outstanding we knew that the car was a wreck and just hoped Junior could produce something we could sell. When we picked the car up we almost fell over!!! OMG we could not believe our eyes!!! The yucky black Camry was transformed into "Black Beauty!" Wow wow wow! He hit this one out of the park. The car literally looks brand new!!! And the interior looked gorgeous too with brand new looking seat belts and mats throughout including the trunk. He even fixed all the crazy malfunctioning lights caused by the upholstery company reinstalling the seats wrong, and we didn't even ask him to do that. “Buying used parts to save money isn't always easy. It's a GAMBLE, I am a business owner with a successful shop for 30 years. There are times when things go smooth and you make good money and sometimes its a loosing battle. I bought a used transmission paid $1,600, I showed up at 4:50pm, shop closes at 5pm. I had called Juan ahead of time and asked him to wait, he was able to get me in, loaded the transmission at 5:25pm, well after closing time. I was extremely grateful. I get back and install said transmission the next day, unfortunately the transmission was faulty and was slipping. A gamble I was willing to take, I call 4 Stars Dismantling, asked for another transmission, they were not able to get me one inside my limited time frame. I was told I was going to get a call back. I wait. I get a call from the owner Vicky, she told me that they aren't able to accommodate me with another transmission, she immediately issued a FULL REFUND, I take the bad transmission back and she sends me a full refund thru zelle. The auto repair business is not pretty there are highs and lows, I am grateful for a business like 4 Stars Dismantling, they are making the world go round thru the highs and lows.
