“I was here last weekend for the PSA event, and this place was solid. It’s more than just a regular comic shop. They have comics, toys, TCG stuff, and enough space to actually host events without it feeling thrown together. The shop had a good collector vibe, and it felt like a place built for people who are really into the hobby, not just casual browsing.
The PSA event was the main reason I went, and I appreciated having something like that available locally instead of having to deal with everything by mail. Overall, cool shop, good setup, and definitely a place I’d come back to for comics, cards, or future events.”

“I miss Wayne and Sandy.
I've had 4 grandchildren since and life gave me a busy schedule. Would love to retake the classes. Wayne is a great teacher and Sandy is also a kind gracious teacher. Love Emi”
“I initially stopped by Silver Sky International just to grab string replacements for my bracelet, but I’m so glad I did. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about gemstones and healing crystals. He took the time to help me and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.
The quality here is excellent — everything feels real and authentic. I walked out with three beautiful high-grade AA gemstone bracelets for only $25. That’s an outstanding value. Whether you’re looking for beads, findings, sterling silver, or powerful healing stones, this shop delivers.
Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back.”

“Ethan sat with me for about 2 hours going through the cards my dad left me after he passed in April. Took his time, and gave me a fair price on all of it. Huge thanks to these guys for helping me out and keeping the hobby reputable and fun! Great to meet you!!!”
“I've come here a few times to play cards. Since they don't charge us to use a table I always buy a pack or 2 or something. I always get great pulls from here too. Idk how they do it”
“As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and SERA Archives thriller novels, I always enjoy visiting standout bookstores, and Barnes & Noble in Calabasas at The Commons is a beautiful location.
The store has a strong two-story design with escalators leading up to the second level. The layout feels open and inviting, with a warm interior that makes it easy to settle in and spend time browsing.
One of the standout features is the manga section. It’s large and well stocked, and it really draws attention when you walk through. The mystery and thriller wall is also nicely set up, with a good range of titles and a clean presentation.
The café is a great space, with a mural of famous authors that adds character and makes it a comfortable place to sit and read. I always enjoy seeing my own book on the shelf here, which adds a personal touch to the visit.
The surrounding Commons area is upscale and well maintained, and parking is fairly easy with plenty of space available.
I also spent some time in the romance section while working on The Maui Desire Romance Series, and it’s a well-organized area that fits nicely alongside the rest of the store.
Overall, it’s a bright, welcoming Barnes & Noble in Calabasas with a great layout, strong selection, and a comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to come back.”
“I’ve been here a few times now. I took my bracelet back and I changed out a few beads and put on a new sterling silver cross . I can’t tell you how unbelievably fun it was to spend time drifting around the stores looking at everything🥰 Diane Helped me and she went above and beyond with sizing, and she strung all the beads for me - 100% worth it! It took me an hour to get there , I don’t care. I’m gonna go back again.☺”
“Today my husband and I and my son Joseph is visiting from New Orleans stopped in here to look around and see what was new and fun items to buy I love the store it is all year round Christmas store so many fun interesting items to enjoy and look at”
“The reviews made me think this place wasn’t good but I honestly had a good experience they helped me out a lot and I got 3 Pokemon packs I was looking for and they were kind enough to give free stickers”
“Great place, knife sharping was quick without any problems, owner was a nice welcoming guy. This store is really unique with great prices on shirts, and a cool vibe.”

“First time doing business here and it went smooth. I sold some graded baseball cards and the owner gave me a fair deal. Many shops will brush you off, but here I felt as if he treats everyone equally and takes the time to check out what you have. There's also a good variety of cards, figures, memorabilia, art, etc. Prices are very good here for individual and/or boxes.”

“Just randomly stopped by here the other day and it was super cool! I got my new year candle burning and praying for great things. Thinking about going back for a reading! Please note : only cash”
“Always Gaming is a fantastic local card shop with a warm, mom-and-pop feel. I often join their Riftbound events on Fridays, thanks to their friendly hours and strong community. Beverly, Tom, and Jim are always there, happy to chat and build that welcoming, social atmosphere where every visit feels like the start of a new story.”
“I planned to only spend a little bit of time in here, but the wide variety of fun games, puzzles, memorabilia, and toys drew me in and deeply satisfied the tism 😋 Sarah was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the various products on display, and was very friendly and attentive when I had questions. I ended up buying a bunch of things I didn’t plan on buying, but I’m very happy with what I got! I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the area :)”
“Mirna was very helpful and professional. The phone was going off, a million customers were asking a million questions and she seamlessly helped each customer in order, made sure the other staff had all their questions answered and was pleasant and professional the entire time. Very impressive.”
“Good selection of r/c stuff, and a decent inventory of Moto gear. My friend got an excellent deal on an Associated truck here the other day. There's definitely lots to look at here, with some very trick custom builds they have as well. Owner is very cool, knows his stuff, and was friendly. Also, they have a lot of parts in stock, and his prices are great. I was particularly happy to see how much Red-Cat racing parts they have. Will definitely be going back. Neat shop for sure.”
“Got in there got what I needed and came out maybe I went in at a really good time store was clean it was cool Not a lot of shoppers at the time customer service was friendly Service was quick.”
“I love this store but Saturdays are pretty busy and I couldn't get help at the fabric cutting counter, which is why im not giving it a 5. I left without the fabric.”

This place is my younger brother's favorite spot for his cards. The guy in the front was cool and the place looked really clean and nice.”
