“Scout has been a patient of dr. Linson for 6 years. He's had lots of issues over the years. I can truthfully say that Dr. Linson is a rare human being. Besides being a great doctor, she is extremely caring and goes far and beyond to take care of her patients. It's hard to find someone like that nowadays. The clinic is clean, wait times are small, personnel is friendly and helpful.”

“I have had my 10 year old cat treated by Dr Robison for 7 years and I am very grateful to her for her unbiased professionalism. First of all, my cat is much calmer in this veterinary clinic, because there are no other animals around at the time of my appointment. Only cats in the back room that are being cared for. Secondly, Dr Robison's advice is always backed up by extensive research on her part. She clearly explains why a medication, intervention, or a change of diet etc. are necessary or to be avoided. Thirdly, her office visit prices are very reasonable. Lastly, she makes herself readily available so booking appointments with her is easy. I will continue to take my cat to Dr Robison' s clinic and highly recommend her.”

“Excellent and caring staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The only issue is sometimes the wait time is long because it seems everyone is taking there pets there and it is in a walk in basis. But I am still giving 5 stars because the waiting time is worth the care your babies get.”

“We are so grateful to have finally found our vet in the area! They are really caring and were able to offer us so much useful information about how to care for our new adult adoptee. And their prices are totally reasonable. We had so many negative experiences before with vets barely doing anything and charging us an office visit. This place is in business for the right reasons.”

“My beloved German Shepherd started wheezing and vomiting up mucus while whining and pacing back and forth. He is 13 years old and suffers from degenerative myelopathy but had never behaved like this. It was 2am and we rushed him to one of the only two 24 hour vet hospitals in the SFV. The other facility had some bad reviews so I chose this one even though their office visit was higher. It turned out he had developed gastric dilation and volvulus (GDV) where the stomach twists and flipped over - it was near fatal. The vet Dr Vanessa Tse saw our boy and told us the options were surgery (about $8000-10,000 but they would have to call around to find a facility that can handle a surgery like that at this time - and given his age and condition he may die anyway) or maybe we can consider putting him to sleep. They tried to ease the pain by using a needle to drain some of the air out of his stomach and gave him painkillers. We cried and made the difficult decision to put him to sleep. The facility was very clean and the staff and dr were kind and compassionate, gave us all the options and let us spend as much time as we wanted with him before , during and after the euthanasia. They had him wrapped in a blanket and laying on a pillow. We appreciated the kindness during such a difficult time and honestly their pricing was reasonable given the emergency service.”

“Dr. Linson is a fantastic vet. We have brought all of our animals to see her when necessary and she has been so kind, caring and knowledgeable every time. Her ‘bedside manner’ when you are going through a heartbreaking situation with one of your beloved furry family members is second to none. We highly recommend her and all of her wonderful staff at WHPC. Thank you Dr. Linson for everything you have done for us.”

“Dealing with the illness or loss of our fur babies is terrible. Tragic! Even now, after two full months, I am fighting back tears as my heart still aches deeply. Our little Sadie Bear had skin cancer (cutaneous T-cell lymphoma). Hearing this from the dermatologist was a gut punch to my wife and I. We cried all the way home. "So now what" we asked. After our research we settled on Veterinary Cancer Group in Woodland hills. Now, please know that cancer is expensive. It doesn't matter if it is fur babies or humans. Treatment is never that cheap. With that said we went to her first appointment. We were a little taken back at the prices, but we settled on a treatment plan that ended up, as we discovered after a few weeks, being more affordable for us than we initially thought. I'm going to skip a lot of the details, so you aren't getting bored reading this. Here is what was important to us....Sadie was our amazing 12-year-old 9lb black-and-tan dachshund. Our little girl. We loved her with all our heart and only wanted the best for her. She fought hard and was a tough girl. She was healthy for all of her life until she wasn't. We tried the treatments and more, but it was too late. It did, however, give us almost a full 4 months of loving her and giving her all we could before we knew the time had come.At some point the chemo stopped working and they wanted to change it. With that came a hefty price tag. At this point we felt that she was becoming tired and frailer. The cost to benefit ratio just wasn't there anymore. So we stopped treatment and just loved and spoiled her as much as we could until it was time to say goodbye. NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT part for us. Sadie HATED going to the vet. She HATED all that came with it. She would stress out and pant profusely. Many times after test and shots etc.. at the normal vet she would be upset for a day or two. Especially if they weren't very nice or compassionate towards her. We always knew when a vet had not handled her well. She would be very sad and upset. This was NEVER the case at Veterinary Cancer Group. After the first couple visits, when appointment time came, she was ready to go. She loved the car ride and when we arrived, she was ready. No stress, no panting. Then when the nurse came to get her, she went with no problems. Sometimes she didn't even look back for her papa. I eventually found out how much love and care they gave her. The staff treated her like she was their own. To us, this was priceless. At a time of great stress and sadness, for both Sadie and for us, the fact that going to the vet was a good experience was great. The frequency of appointments varied. Sometimes every week, sometimes every two weeks, but on average it was 3 to 4 times a month. It would have been an even harder and more stressful experience if she would have hated going for her treatments. The staff at VCG made it as good of an experience as it could be given the circumstances. We are extremely grateful for their compassion and love towards our sweet little Sadie Bear.”

“I really wish people were more considerate when leaving reviews since many of us look to them for experiences and guidance and make sure they’re specific to the care they received. My review is mainly for the neurology department. My dog was diagnosed with IVDD. I was told by my vet to contact ACCESS for neurology to have an MRI done to see what’s going on with him. When I showed up for my appointment, the staff helped me carry my boy in since it hurts him to walk around. The reason for our visit was the amount of pain he was in, painful to sit, painful to walk. He couldn’t shake anymore, was walking with his head lowered, and started to buckle his right paw when he would stand. Dr. Egnor was kind and thorough. She explained everything to us and what she believed is going on and later called us back to review MRI results which confirmed everything we discussed earlier. He had a herniated disk in his neck that was pushing on his nerves causing pain. They scheduled him for surgery the next morning. I’m so grateful for this team and knew I was making the right decision trusting him with their hands. Front desk was great too. I asked my bank for a credit increase which they did but not to the amount I had requested. I was short on my bill and the team let me pay a lower amount to ensure I was able to cover surgery for the next day. My favorite thing was that Dr. Egnor consulted with others on her team to confirm what she believed was the issue and right course of action. It felt like a team diagnosis.Day of surgery: Dr. Egnor called me before to explain things and shared how he did the night before. Tony texted me before surgery was about to begin. The surgery took a long time, I think about 4 hours? but Dr. Egnor called me as soon as she wrapped up so I wouldn’t worry. She let me know that she didn’t find anything weird and that they got a lot of disk material out. Everything else went well and they kept him overnight to make sure he was doing okay, breathing well, walking on his own, etc. He ate dinner and I called overnight to check on him and they said he was doing well, just sleepy and that he had walked with some support. Communicationhas been great overall.Pick up: Dr. Egnor called in the morning and let me know I could go see him around 1:30 and if he was feeling good he would be able to go home later that day. They also let me drop off a t-shirt that he could keep after surgery. When I went to visit him, everyone was very loving towards him and he was happy to see me and moving around. He looked so good and happy and wasn’t in pain anymore. I’m so so so grateful. He’s at home now and recovering. I bought him a play pen to keep him confined. He’s eating and taking his meds well. I’ll update this in a few weeks with how he’s doing.”

“I'm always reluctant to come to this Petco location when I have a limited amount of time because they are usually short staffed or just don't have enough people at the registers. This 5 star review is specifically for the service I received today by Dan.Today I came in to pick up several online orders and was assisted by Dan. He is awesome!!!! Because of the size of my orders, he was very careful to ensure everything was correct. I then realized I wanted to purchase more stuff but wanted to do it online for in-store pickup to take advantage of the additional 10% off. I definitely didn't want to wait 2 hours for the order to be filled since I was already at the store.Dan was nice enough to go pull the items from the shelf and wait for my order to go through to their system so that I didn't have to come back later. I so greatly appreciated his professionalism, kindness, and patience. Dan also gave me invaluable information about their vital rewards program. Make sure to ask about it next time you're there. It's really a great program designed to save you money. Thanks Dan for making my Petco visit a seamless and easy transaction.”
