“Long time customer here at Woodland Gold & Silver. I have been coming here consistently for nearly 20 years, back when Doug and Brandon ran things when it was Yolo Gold & Silver, and certainly since Brandon and Jessica have been running the show for the last 10 years+. I have to say that any negative reviews of this place are a bit of a head scratcher for me. Brandon and Jessica are two of the nicest people that I’ve worked with, and both are extremely knowledgeable in the world of gold and silver. My business is selling on eBay, I’ve done it for nearly 20 years. A good portion of what I sell is jewelry and collectible antique items. Sometimes I sell my jewelry on eBay, sometimes I bring it in to scrap out at Woodland Gold & Silver. I have visited A LOT of gold & silver shops over the years, and I can say confidently that their payouts and professionalism far exceed any other place I have visited. From my experience, the world of gold and silver shops contain a lot of people that have, let’s just say, not your best interest in mind, when they are calculating what to pay you. Brandon and Jessica are always honest and upfront about what you bring in (good, bad and anything in between), and they always assess, weigh and calculate everything right in front of you (none of the whole “we’ll take a look at it in the back and be back in 10 minutes routine”). Even when I come in with the explicit purpose of not selling something, but rather having them test for purity, offer their expertise and any additional knowledge they may have on an item, etc., they are always very gracious in taking the time to do that. It can be very easy to have an over inflated idea in your mind of what your gold and silver will be worth, but they always take the time to break down the payouts and exactly how that process works (should you want to get into the weeds on that type of information). I personally rarely buy anything from them, but for what it’s worth, they also have a large selection of jewelry, coins, etc. For my time and money, they are the only place to go. Appreciate your guys’ work. Confidently go to Woodland Gold & Silver, they are solid business owners that can be trusted to always do the right thing.
