“I was traveling to my new home from Washington State to Fresno, California. 10 miles outside of Woodland, I broke down, sheered off all the studs, lost the lugs, honestly I thought I messed EVERYTHING up. I had AAA pick me up (great tow company and wish I got his info) and suggest a shop that will take good care of me. Well he dropped me off on a Sunday. I stayed the night, rented a car and expected to pick it in a week or two. I showed up the next day, explained the situation, guys took me in and provided some relief on jumping on it. My thoughts (even calling my service contract company) Fil calls me 3days later, saying my vehicle was all fixed, minus some custom lugs (which was me for not ordering the proper ones). Now remember, I had thought at a minimum, over $1000 - nope, these guys got me back on the road for under $300!!!! I about fell out of my chair! The next day, jumped in the rental to drive the 7hr round trip. Fil & Hector even came and picked me up at the rental store.
If you want a solid mechanic or shop, do yourself a favor… Go see F & R! I couldn’t have been happier with their entire team!

“I caught a huge rock into my windshield on road 102 in my two month old F-150 and I hesitated to go with Safelite because they boosted stuff out of the last truck I did with them. I decided to go local and Jerry at Rainbow was awesome. My truck has a 75 year decal on the windshield and I wanted that specific windshield to keep everything original. Jerry obtained the correct glass and the shop did the reprogramming required for the truck and I couldn’t be happier.
The shop is neat and clean and everything was handled in a friendly and professional manner. I will bring all of my future glass work to Rainbow, and there will be more living out where we do with the highways as they are.

“Have a 1990 Caterpillar 3406B in an old Kenworth log truck. Needed my fuel injection pump inspected and rebuilt. Spent several casual months trying to source a reputable place locally within reasonable driving distance to my house. Found VFI and spoke to David. His confidence in our phone conversations made me feel comfortable enough to drive my Injection pump to there place of business and talk with them again in person, I was prepared to walk away with my pump if I didn't feel comfortable with this place. When I saw the shop and how clean everything was and not a bunch of crap laying all over and dirty that made me feel good, and then when I spoke with David he inspired confidence and answered all of my questions regarding my pump. This was a huge expense and didn't want just anybody tearing into this thing. I also requested that they don't paint the pump and leave it raw patina after bead blasting and cleaning and after rebuild, ( I was gonna do this myself with OEM CAT paint) assembly and bench test/calibration on there dyno. This was July 2023 I dropped off and picked up several weeks later, fast forward to today April 2024 just got my motor back together and started it up, ran great couldn't be happier to have found David and VFI. Thank you very much for great work.”

“Took my 2012 accent in for a check engine light. Catalytic converter needed to be changed. They were very professional as to telling me what can possibly be the problem. 10-13-2023. Convert ended up needing to be replaced. They did not try to sell me anything that was not needed, nor did they add anything additional that was not asked for very quick to get the job done. Gave me amazing future advice. A little on the pricy side but great prices come with amazing work done.”

Friendly owner. Never ever try and upsell you for other tires. I'm never happy to go to a tire store - either I have a flat or have to spend a bunch on tires. I always leave happy. In and out for a nail repair - $20. Can't beat it.”
