La Superior Mercados is a family-owned market established in 2001. The store is super clean, well organized, and stocked with all the goods. It offers a great selection of meat and Latin produce that is hard to find elsewhere. The people and staff are super nice, friendly, and helpful, often going above and beyond with smiles and good will. While some language barriers exist, the environment is welcoming and wholesome. Prices are generally great and reasonable, with very fresh items. The attached taqueria and restaurant receive mixed feedback on value, but the market itself remains a favorite for groceries, creating a space where customers feel a connection to home.
I sent my son & daughter in to buy meat,& they came out in a happy mood! They said the people who waited on them had a nice attitude & were fun loving & they'd like to come back here to go shopping again!

La Superior is MY PLACE to go for Mexican groceries, bakery and fresh meat. I was happy to know there was a Woodland La Superior. It just made my lunch hour. I lovelovelove the ceviche de pescado, salsas, cheeses and mas...go to it! You won't be disappointed!
