“Nice little post office. Staffing seems to be an issue, but it's everywhere. Today I found a sign posted they'll be closed from 12:30-1:30 from Monday through Friday.”

“Best USPS ever. I would HIGHLY recommend going to this one over the other USPS in Napa. They are incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Sometimes USPS can be a bit daunting, but they make the process so easy for you.”

“One of the most pleasant post office experiences I've had. After stopping for breakfast at the nearby Oakville Grocery, I went to buy stamps&mail letters. The desk clerk was very friendly. Parking can be a challenge, since they are beside the famous Oakville Grocery, but if you're lucky to snag a spot, it's worth it. Fast, friendly service.”

“After coming back from Hawaii, I had some gifts to mail to a friend in Chicago. Since we were going up to Wine County, she had a wish list for a pack of English muffins from Model Bakery. After getting the muffins, we brought our priority mail box to the post office at the next block. The building is historic that was commissioned in 1939 and completed as a Works Progress Administration Project. The lobby is quaint with vintage a section of vintage post office boxes with nice wood walls and cages and the clerks window. There's a mural, "Grape Pickers" by Lew Kelley in 1942 in the side of the lobby.Since I had prepaid for the box label, we just finished packing the box, taped the box and brought it to the window where the clerk scanned it and gave me a receipt. We were happy to have gotten the box in for the Saturday drop off and the package arrived in Chicago on Monday. Appreciate this quaint little post office in downtown St. Helena for providing service to locals and for visitors like me.”

“Made an appointment online for three passports. Waited for about 5 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Got the photos taken, handed the lady all the documents (already filled out). Took less than 30 minutes for her to process all three passport applications and charge us the fees. Very efficient and friendly staff. Please make an appointment, the process goes extremely fast.”

“I have a P.O. Box here- I am giving them 5 stars because I had a phone call today to tell me that I had a large package - when I said I was going to get there close to 5 pm they said if I get there late bang on the door and I can get the package. Maybe it was in their way but how nice to let me know it arrived!”

“This USPS post office is much better than the one in Fairfield. The one in Fairfield does NOT honor their walk-in hour like this place does for passports. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and the staff was very friendly and kind. Very pleased with this USPS office.”

“We came here for a passport because we couldn’t get an appointment nearby. We arrived a little before our appointment but was helped right away. Jesse was an amazing help! He answered all of questions and was so nice! I would honestly drive out here again for passport help.”
