“I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences here while purchasing a new saw, coming in for oil and chains, or for repairs. Friendly, knowledgeable service that you won’t find at the big box stores. It’s good to support our local business.”
“I only use this Ace when I need something quick. Otherwise I go to Weed , Ft. Jones, or Ashland. Customer service is mediocre at best and they act as if customers are a nuisance. I don’t know who owns this Ace but I can only imagine how unfriendly they are. Avoid at all costs if possible.
Update August 2025: it seems that the owner or management have been listening to customers. They’ve hired more pleasant staff who are eager to help and more pleasant to work with.”

“I have been buying tools from harbor freight since they used to sell out of tents at the fairgrounds. A lot has changed and they have good tools at various price points. But in general the store in yreka is a blessing for a local handyman/ painter/ shade tree mechanic. Management at this store is excellent. Best hf tools in Northern California for sure.”
