If you value your sanity, your wallet, or basic human decency, avoid this store like a biohazard. Salesperson Eliana S. posted unauthorized charges to my credit card — flat-out fraud. When I came back with the invoice in hand and asked for a simple refund, she refused, doubled down on the nonsense, and then — unbelievably — called the police on me for asking to reverse an illegal charge.
The officers showed up, took one look at the situation, didn’t even bother asking for my ID, and apologized on behalf of the universe for the salesperson’s behavior. They were clearly embarrassed that they were even called.
I walked out, called Verizon corporate, and guess what? They apologized too — because Russell Cellular is a third-party clown show — and immediately issued a full refund and compensation. That’s how clear-cut this mess was.
But the damage was done. The experience was so astonishingly unprofessional that I’m done with Verizon entirely. I’ve moved to AT&T purely to avoid ever dealing with scammers like Eliana S. or another Russell Cellular store again.
If this is how they treat customers, run. Don’t walk. Run.

As I'm getting older, things take a bit longer to do things. Ellie was as patient as could be as I fumbled to find things on my phone. She was quite efficient and and knowledgeable. My experience there was very good, and I do recommend them.

I've been buying my phones here for the last 20 years. Recently my Samsung had an update. There were a couple questions I had about the update. When I ask the person behind the counter about my concerns she said that there was nothing Russell could do, that I needed to contact Samsung. No attempt to look at the settings and see if they could be modified. Finally, out of frustration, I ask if she had a customer service # for Samsung, after all, Russell does sell Samsung products. I was informed that I would have to look that up myself. Quite cheeky. No worries, WalMart is just across the street.
