“I was a member of SLV Fitness for about two years before switching to another local gym primarily due to its larger network which I needed as I travel more and more out of town.During my two years here I was very impressed with this gym both the cleanliness, equipment, and staff. It has a full range of resistance machines, stand-alone weights, and cardio equipment. They keep the place at a comfortably cool temperature. Lots of space and room.Versus other standard gyms SLV Fitness didn't charge a yearly up keep or maintenance fee yet often has the most up-to-date treadmills in the valley (think Wifi enabled treadmills that allow you to connect to your personal Netflix, Spotify, YouTube or go on virtual scenic runs). The owners periodically replaced old equipment with new ones. Rarely was any equipment out of commission for very long if it needed repair.It's the only gym in the area I'm aware of that gives members access to a hot tub, steam room and dry sauna.Staff was great, especially Raven!Overall a top choice for a solid gym owned by locals who support the community.”
